Great atmosphere, very busy local pub feel, with a live band on Wednesday when we were there. The prices are that of finer dining, so we were taken back at the cost. Two burgers and two drinks $78, before tip.

Gave this place 3 chances. Missed food order that was never fixed on first visit, on a waitlist for the second visit but no call back, third our starter never came out until the very end when it was forgotten and we were ready to leave. Go to Zacks instead if you want to stay local. If you want the english pub feeling Crow and Gate is worth the extra travel!

Came here for a staff party. Good food and they held our party in a separate room which is nice. I ordered the Salmon Wellington and the duck confit poutine. Hands down the Salmon Wellington is the best dish but I'll have to come back here in the future to try their other entrees.
Parking: Street parking states 2 hour limit but regulation seems relaxed or non-existent.

It feels like walking into a magical Polar Express (Christmas movie) world at this time of year. It was packed but the service was still prompt, polite and attentive. Food was good and the atmosphere is cozy, comforting and has an old English pub feel. Will definitely be back!

Great Place, great food, good service. Doesn't look like much from outside but warm and friendly well appointed British style pub inside. Seafood pie and Fish burger looked and tasted delicious. Servers were welcoming and pleasant, although busy. So glad we chose this place.

I had read all about the fish and chips but was really disappointed when a few bites in I started chewing on bone. After two separate mouthfuls of bones I decided it wasn't for me. I was offered a $5 refund or a replacement piece of fish (which I couldn't trust to not have bone in) even though I barely touched my meal. I could have excused the food but the server told me it wasn't their fault because they don't debone the fish themselves and had no control over it. This offered no real incentive to return unfortunately because the atmosphere otherwise was great.
