Ironworks Cafe & Creperie

We had an amazing treat at Ironworks Cafe & Creperie. So many tempting choices, both sweet and savoury. Three of us wanted to share two crepes, and asked if our choices could be cut into thirds. Renee plated the thirds individually with full garnishes. 🌟🌟🌟 We had the ‘Four Berries and Cream” (sweet) and the ‘Spinach, Artichoke & Brie” (savoury). Hmmmmm. Latte was excellent. 🌟 Locally owned, caringly staffed, local ingredients. So impressed. Thank you.

We took our kids here to celebrate Valentine’s and it was amazing! The staff were super friendly and allowed the kids to observe them making the crepes which were delicious and everyone loved! 10/10!

It is obvious from the love of what they do why this a favourite spot for locals and foodies. They go above and beyond to make your experience exceptional. Know customers by name and treat them like friends. I will happily go back and support this local business for as long as they exist.

A sign letting people know to order at counter would have been appreciated rather than having people jump us in line. Food was great but more interaction from staff would have helped in us enjoying our experience more.

A wonderful little restaurant serving both sweet and savory Belgian style crepes. Also great espresso-based drinks and a kids menu (our 4y old granddaughter really like that she could color the back side of the kids menu). The adult kids both had chicken & mushroom (w/lattes), my wife had artichoke & brie (w/iced coffee), and I had the breakfast crepe (scrambled eggs, bacon, & cheese w/cappuccino), which were all simply outstanding! Plenty of beautiful outdoor seating, but next to the TC-1 highway so noisy. Seating inside is very limited, so go on a nice day or plan on take-out.

Best breakfast I’ve had in a very long time. I got the Oreo crepe and my partner got the Mac and cheese crepe. So, so good! Mind blowing. Will be back next time we travel through Ladysmith.

When I ate here I ordered something with chicken. The look on the ladies face when she learned what I wanted made my experience kind of crappy. It wasn't near closing, it was midday and she seemed to be very put out that I came into a restaurant to actually eat. Food was great, service was not. Haven't gone back.

The latte was good, but the berry crepe I got was hard to chew. It felt like I’m chewing a bread. The crepe didn’t have taste or any flavour.
I think the crepe needs to be improved a lot as I had better crepes on the island.
It was a bit sad to go here for something I love, but feel a bit disappointed.

3 ladies working upon our arrival not one looked at us or said hello. We were unsure if we sat first or ordered so we asked food was ok.We left and got gas next door where the employee who cooked our food happened to be pumping gas into her vw while vaping outside at the pump...not a great experience.

Racist staff , served everyone who ordered after us and kept us 30 minutes for a smoked salmon that was just a junk food.
Washroom was very dirty too
