We loved this little spot in Ladysmith. The food menu was varied and everything we ate, we said yum yum too. The spicy margarita was delicious and if we weren’t on a big hike in the morning, we would have tried some tequila’s.
Friendly and great service.

Don’t bother. We had the prawn tacos and the fish taco. If we had known how spicy they were going to be we would not have ordered them. The heat made them tasteless. When the two prawn tacos orders arrived, it came with one tiny side of condiments although we had placed two orders. When we asked if each order came with the condiments we were told that they do not like to waste, so no you only get one. Overpriced, small portions.

I’m generally suspicious of weird fusion places but everything I ate here was great. Portion sizes were probably good for 2 so I would recommend asking the server if you’re in a bigger group. For example, we were a group of 4, ordered croquettes, and 3 showed up. Will definitely go here again next time I swing through here.

Stopped here on our way back to Victoria. First time here, the hostess talked us through the menu and tapas style food. Warned us the portions would be small.

We did not expect them to be that small.
I live in Vancouver and have been to a few tapas style restaurants. This was small, and in my opinion not worth the price.

WoW quite the nice Mexican flashback. We had chips and salsa, oh so fresh and savory.
Then we had Fish tacos, and for desert we had keylime pie and Churos. So tasty. I Would definitely recommend coming again to sample more.
The tequila flights were a perfect sample size!

Everything on the menu is delicious (whether it’s the standard menu, the daily specials or the drink menu). The scallops in the butter with anchovies sauce is to die for as are all the margs. I’ve been going to “this place” for years (even when the chefs operated previous restaurants in Secret Cove and the West End in Vancouver). Always wonderful.

This little restaurant is wonderful! They have a variety of Mexican and Spanish themed small
plates. We had the seared scallops in anchovy garlic butter, the green salad, guacamole and chips and Baja fish tacos. Everything was fresh and exquisite. The atmosphere was cozy and festive. Highly recommend eating here if you’re in Ladysmith.

We went on a beautiful Saturday evening. Very friendly greeting as soon as we entered. We were then lead to the super cute backyard area where we had friends waiting for us. Service staff was incredible. The food was amazing. Its a Spanish style tapa experience meant to share with the table over great conversation. A magical night. Thank you to the staff and the chef. We will be back.
