Beautiful setting for the restaurant with a lovely outdoor patio.. The servers seemed like they were in a coma. No one checked on our food or asked if we would like anything else. I had to finally go inside and ask for our bill. Very pricey menu and they are using Beyond Meat and Impossible Burger instead of homemade food.

We were on our boat after two months in the northern Canadian waters and we're glad to hit land and find a couple great restaurants in this small BC town. Plantitude was one of the two. I am pescatarian and my husband, well is NOT. He loves meat, but he enjoyed the mushroom risotto, such a big portion we had some for lunch the next day, the chicken nuggets and the artichoke dip. Order the tasting platter to get a yummy experience of a number of appetizers and the mushroom risotto was some of the best we have had. We would have loved to come back a second time to try a few more items, like dessert, but that will have to wait until next year, as we will make a point to hit Ladysmith again and visit Plantitude too! Thank you Natalie for your great service and your wonderful smile. Hope to see you next year too!
We stopped by Ladysmith on our way to Nanaimo and enjoyed lunch at this gem. I was pleasantly surprised by this all vegan restaurant. I got the panini and it was heavy on the sauce (a good thing in my mind) and came with salad and soup. I got the dill pickle soup and it was awesome, very flavorful, the salad was also good, very fresh with sesame dressing. My son got the crispy chicken bacon burger and was able to sub potatoes for the soup and salad. His burger was flavorful, with lots of toppings, good portion size and served on a pretzel bun. We ordered our food to go but the service was attentive and fast. We absolutely loved our lunch at Plantitude! We shared the Flatbread and the Roma Panini (which comes with soup & salad) and it was all so good with delicious flavours! They have a lovely atmosphere too. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love the food here. I used to eat here at least once per month because not only is the food great, but I also wanted to help support this restaurant. Unfortunately, we've had very poor experiences with the service, mostly during take out. Wrong food, incomplete orders only to get home and be missing half of the food. This was brought to the attention of the owner who was very apologetic and offered a credit/gift card because of over 5 incorrect orders in a row. We thanked her and proceeded to utilize this offer on our next order - it was denied by the owner and I was told that there was no such accommodation/arrangement made. As such, we've stopped supporting the restaurant, which really kills me, but I have an expectation that I receive what I am paying for. Truly a sad situation, but the owner was obviously not invested in quality service to the patrons.

I came here again in 2023. Ordered a salad and potato skins. The quantity of the food was very small compared to the prices. I was extremely surprised at the small quantity. The food was ok compared to what I remember from last time I visited. The atmosphere of the place was extremely nice. Likely won’t come here again. Price to quantity ratio was extremely disappointing.
