We visited this pub twice in July 2025. On both occasions the welcome we received from the manager was very warm. The pub is very spacious with lots of tables outdoors. They are planning to have some live music as well.
Our burgers and the nachos were very tasty.
Beer selection however could be improved.
They are also pet friendly.

Just went to Saltair Pub this weekend with my two picky kid eaters. We had the Saltair burger, Chicken Wings and Nacho's. Everything was fantastic! My youngest who hates burgers couldn't get enough of the burger which shocked me since it's loaded with fried onions, bacon, mushrooms, cheese and the usual suspects (none of which he usually eats). My oldest said it was the best food he's ever had.
I'm a bit of a foodie and pub food is not usually my jam but I truly enjoyed everything we ate there.
Kids loved the atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and welcoming to all of us including my two dogs.
They weren't busy but they have only taken over the pub 6 months ago. I hope my great experience will encourage people to give this place another try.
We will be back for sure!

Lol. That was a mistake going there but I lived through it. We were the only people there. Not going back

I went to the Saltair pub not knowing what to expect and was blown away. The servers were friendly and authentic, the burgers were super tasty and the atmosphere of this pub, originally from 1908, was perfect for my partner’s mom’s birthday. All of us agreed we would come again and try other things on the menu. Highly recommend the nachos. A huge portion and fully loaded. Dogs are welcome on the patio and games are available. Can’t recommend enough.

I was just here for my mother in law's birthday and had an absolutely fabulous experience. They have a nice patio area that's dog friendly and a bunch of crib boards and a few other games to play while you wait. Extremely friendly service, the new owner takes a lot of pride in his work and it really shows.

I had the ringer burger and it was probably the best burger I've ever had. Onion rings and caramelized onions on their already fantastic burger really took it to another level. The fries were also very good, nice and crispy and well-seasoned. Most of the table got burgers, but someone got the nachos and even the half order was bigger than you'd get at most restaurants nowadays. Absolutely loaded with peppers, olives, and cheese with an option to add either beef or chicken.

Prices are very reasonable, they could definitely charge more for how good everything was.

Overall, this pub is an absolute gem that I would recommend to anyone in the area. I live on the mainland but will 100% be returning next time I'm on the island. I think this will be a new staple for our family get-togethers.

Very odd place, servers were questionable and the food they raved about was gross. Not even sure we were getting beef burgers?! Beer was flat on tap and the only other option was Lucky beer. I’d give zero stars if I could. We were the only patrons in the establishment at prime dinner hour

The Saltair Pub offers a quaint, no-frills pub experience, but it falls short in a few areas. The beer selection on tap is limited, which might disappoint craft beer enthusiasts. There's no menu to browse, and the food options are sparse, lacking pub staples like fish and chips and chowder. While the atmosphere has potential, it would benefit from a more diverse drink and food menu offering to elevate the overall experience.
The beer was cold and all our food came to our table at the same time which contributed to my two star rating. The server was a delight and was a pleasure to meet :)

The food is very good and the servers try hard but it is difficult to overcome the cheapskate owner, Dave Prakash. The kitchen equipment is in need of some serious maintenance. This pub is usually open for a few months then closes. Recommend contacting the pub before you go to see if everything is in working order before heading there.

Saturday lunch we were the only 3 there. The only choice of beer on tap was lucky, Bud, or likely flat Bud light but were told there were new lines and it's really cold which it wasn't. The burgers were decent, but one of us ordered a BLT not a burger. Staff interactions were really odd.
