We used to really enjoy it here. But they put the prices up without changing the menu first, so we ordered take out and it was way more expensive. Lately we keep getting the wrong things in our orders. Last time every dish was off in some way (butter prawns instead of chicken, chicken vindaloo instead of beef) and then they charged me too little and called me multiple times to try to get me to go back.
This time both of our dishes were ordered mild but they are so mild that it tastes like dessert. My son won't eat his. There is nothing curry-like going on here. With so many other local options for Indian there is just no reason to go here anymore, sadly. It's too bad because we have had many important family dinners with both take out and dine in here.

The food was awesome. I had the vindaloo beef hot the spice level was good. One of the few places that hot price is actually quite hot. Not unpleasant but plenty spicy enough. The small rice with the meal is actually a rather large bowl of rice. Really would be enough for 2 people. Would be best to order as an entree sharing way. Daughter had butter chicken mild and really enjoyed it. There is a good helping of meat in all the portions, not just small traces like many other places.
The chicken wings actually come with a salad as well, not just a bit of greenery as a garnish but an actual legit salad.
My wife had the chicken tandoori salad and found it to be very tasty. Again, good chunks of meat, not just little pieces.
The garlic Naan was also a good size. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for East Indian food in ladysmith.

We had the lamb curry and the butter chicken, the food was amazing. It came out quick and hot. Portions were good for the price. The service was really good. Our three year old approved.

Food was great but I'm not sure why I tipped for the service.
Couldn't get a glass for my bottle of zero alcohol beer. I may be getting old but some people still like a glass in a restaurant!
Couldn't get a second bottle, I'd drunk the only one!
Had to get my own cutlery from another table, she kept forgetting to return with the same!
Really not a great dining experience, get a take out!

I ordered biriyani and naan for to go, the server was an old lady extremely rude in behaviour. I was there at 9:30 pm and they close at 10, i was refused for food at first than she asked me i have to ask the chef by myself if he will make food for me or not. Like really since when the customers have to do you server’s job and communicate with the chef directly. On top of that their prices are hideous i paid like $30 for a biriyani and naan. The biriyani was mushy and the naan were so hard to eat i literally had to cut it with a chopping knife. I was ready to walk out understanding they are about to close but when she asked me to talk to chef was just too much. Not paying another visit to this place even if ill be starving to death. If you dont need our business just say that. I wonder what the locals have to go through everyday with this business.
