Brittany was amazing. Let me plug in my cell phone at the bar, served me an ice-cold Heineken, and the conversation we had was moving. Her work ethic, ability to multi task, and be herself in the moment was a breath of fresh air. She is truly an exemplary employee who contributes to making this such a great place to be. I have been going there for the past 15 years and it is definitely a part of Ladysmith. Gloria has been the same waitress there ever since I started going to the sportsman and she is great at her job and makes your experience there a memorable one. At times there is live bands and karaoke every week. There is pool tables there to have a friendly game and the food is amazing. It is the only pub left in Ladysmith and it's located right on the main Street

Stinks like mold when you walk in, waitress unprofessional. The worst place ever. Disgusting poutine with shredded mozzarella, cold gravy. Chicken strips were sponge like and small portion of fries. I will never eat there again.
On one of the busiest days of the year, after months of promoting the band playing, the bar was so short staffed that the kitchen was closed and the wait staff could not get out from behind bar to serve customers.Toilet in bathroom was broken so you could not flush it. After 500 people use bathroom you can imagine the state.The pool tables are drained and uneven and most of the cues cracked and warped.Ownership/management should be ashamed.The band was good, though
