We LOVE The Jas Cafe. There is no better place to stop for a snack, drink, or meal in Ladysmith. Everything is always fresh, hot, and so delicious - not to mention affordably priced. The family is so sweet and we feel so welcomed and well taken care of every time. I can’t recommend it enough!

What a delightful place to meet for dim sum or ramen. The food is fresh and the young couple that owns the cafe are very sweet, welcoming and friendly. We had dim sum, Bao buns, and ramen - all of which were very fresh, well presented and delicious.Check the open hours before going: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 11:00 - 3:00 and 5:00 - 8:00.

Really friendly service!! The food was good. Really enjoyed having some new bakery options in town, especially on this end of town. However I think the menu has shifted the last couple months and it's not so much a Cafe as it is a Chinese restaurant now. Boba is okay, but no frozen option. Brown sugar milk is still pretty good though. They really spruced the place up.

this place is a good local spot to visit for a quick breakfast or lunch. 20 mins drive from Nanaimo. The food taste great and is affordable, and its so convenient especially if you're just wanting a quick bite. They have Chinese dim sum, Japanese ramen, bubble teas and cakes available. The staff is great and super attentive. I will come back.

Love the addition of Jas cafe to the town. Their pork buns are absolutely amazing, I could eat 20 of them. The space is lovely and the service was great, we had table service but I’ve ordered for take out too. I’m surprised it wasn’t more busy as they were open until 8pm on a Friday. Can’t wait to try more on the menu!
