How can a restaurant be the best thing since sliced bread and vomit from the depths of hell at the same time? I just don't understand these reviews. (Three stars because I had to post something.)

Stopped here for dinner after searching for some gluten free food since we have some celiac people in the family. Most of the menu was available as gluten free and they were very accommodating. They had the broadest selection of gluten free Chinese food that I've seen.

The dishes we got were all pretty good. There are always trade-offs with gluten free cooking since you can't use traditional methods to thicken sauces etc, and they've done a great job with that challenging task.

Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating for celiac, most of the menu is available as gluten free.

Great spot in Ladysmith and lots of Gluten Free options which has been so awesome for my wife who is a Celiac. We drive from Nanaimo for takeout and always have tons of leftovers so great value as well!

Wish I could leave less than a star. Those who have commented that this is the worst Chinese food they've had are spot on. The combination plate came out like a wilted leaf all flat and pathetic unlike other Chinese restaurants that offer generous portions. The sweet and sour was reminiscent of canned dog food and I would imagine tastes about the same . Gross...
Never will I eat here or give this restaurant another dollar. The only redeeming quality is the bottled water which was only ordered because they won't even give a glass of water..places like this need to go bankrupt. The server was very nice and pleasant and of course all of the issues above have nothing to do with her courteous attentive service.

Undoubtedly the worst food we've ever eaten. Tasted like dirty oil and left a strange after taste. $50 and in the garbage it went. Definitely will not be back.

Wow! Ordered take out from here. Food was amazing! Everything made fresh, not just taken from a buffet as I've seen other places do. Piping hot, fresh and delicious. They even offer gluten free. The decor is a little tired but I didn't go there for that. Highly recommend ?

I wish I could rate it less than one…. We did an order for delivery and then they called us back less than 5 minutes to say we are too far away. So we went there to get our food and were asked to sit down it would be 5 minutes. We did and then the lady came back and said one of our items weren’t available. When our food came out and got it home we found out that part of our order wasn’t there. When we ate it we could only taste salt and grease.we tried calling off three different phones and kept getting line busy. When we actually got threw their response was to refund the item we were charged for it next time we came in.

I was incredibly ill with apparent food poisoning after having a take out meal from here. I'd not eaten anything else past breakfast that day. When I reported it, the woman essentially denied my experience was in any way related and offered zero compensation. Not taking any risks by going back!

Hidden gem for Gluten Free Chinese Szechuan cuisine! Sooo good!!! My mom and I are both celiacs and enjoyed a wide variety of GF dishes including beef broccoli, ginger beef, fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, ko po shrimp and more :) The staff was very aware and accommodating for allergies ?? the food was very high quality with no MSG and made with house made sauces. We came with a large group and everyone enjoyed their meal!

Vegetarian options: Wide range of vegetarian options for almost all dishes including spring rolls

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options for those with celiac or gluten intolerance/sensitivities

Was amazing food and so nice with so many gluten free options for the Celiacs in my family! The only thing I would say I was disappointed in was the fact that they only served bottled water! Not as much for the expense but I think it is important to avoid bottled water and the industry it serves! Great service and super food!

Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian dishes

Dietary restrictions: Great Gluten free options

The service was amazing as was the food!I have one child with not common dietary restrictions. They went through the menu and offered ideas of what she could have and other dishes they could, and did, modify for her.The food wasn't made from the same sauces that every other Chinese restaurant uses. These were much better! I've had traditional Chinese food, and this resembles that, more than the Americanized Chinese food we are all used to.Conversation with the staff was very nice! They are welcoming and there to have a great experience with you. This is perfect as it makes the dining experience very pleasant and memorable.Thank you for a great experience!
