Recently moved from Vancouver and I've been trying to find a place with great gluten free options. This place was awesome! Lots of tasty GF options on their menu. Food was delicious!

I wish I could rate it less than one…. We did an order for delivery and then they called us back less than 5 minutes to say we are too far away. So we went there to get our food and were asked to sit down it would be 5 minutes. We did and then the lady came back and said one of our items weren’t available. When our food came out and got it home we found out that part of our order wasn’t there. When we ate it we could only taste salt and grease.we tried calling off three different phones and kept getting line busy. When we actually got threw their response was to refund the item we were charged for it next time we came in.

I was incredibly ill with apparent food poisoning after having a take out meal from here. I'd not eaten anything else past breakfast that day. When I reported it, the woman essentially denied my experience was in any way related and offered zero compensation. Not taking any risks by going back!

First time there and definitely the last food tasted funny and my wife found hair in her hair after 2 bites the plates were full still and still charged us full price and offered us 2 free meals next visit definitely won’t return

The staff working this restaurant are incredibly friendly and helpful, smooth order taking over the phone. The establishment used to be a bowling alley, the building itself looks like it, perhaps even a 1970s area curling rink feel to it. Food was piping hot and the price point is cheaper than other options in the area. Picked up a take out order on the Friday, right before the end of the year. Food was average, as some dishes were a real hit and others were less than popular at the table. The Good: Sweet and Sour Pork + Vegetable Lo Mein -Sweet and Sour Pork was some of the best out there -Vegetable Lo Mein was practically perfect but missing the toasted Sesame Oil points that you would want in the dish The Mid: Szechuan Prawns + Hot and Sour Soup -Szechuan Prawns were heckin' spicy but that was the only real taste note -Hot and Sour Soup was tasty but had literally no Sour in it The Least Popular: Ginger Beef -Ginger Beef was overcooked and the coating was heavily corn-starchy Overall, this review is sitting at 3 stars, if I could award a half star I would be giving them 3.5 / 5 for sure. Like I would eat here again, but my expectations would remain about the same.

Hidden gem for Gluten Free Chinese Szechuan cuisine! Sooo good!!! My mom and I are both celiacs and enjoyed a wide variety of GF dishes including beef broccoli, ginger beef, fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, ko po shrimp and more :) The staff was very aware and accommodating for allergies ?? the food was very high quality with no MSG and made with house made sauces. We came with a large group and everyone enjoyed their meal!Vegetarian options: Wide range of vegetarian options for almost all dishes including spring rollsDietary restrictions: Gluten free options for those with celiac or gluten intolerance/sensitivities

Was amazing food and so nice with so many gluten free options for the Celiacs in my family! The only thing I would say I was disappointed in was the fact that they only served bottled water! Not as much for the expense but I think it is important to avoid bottled water and the industry it serves! Great service and super food!Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian dishesDietary restrictions: Great Gluten free options

The service was amazing as was the food!I have one child with not common dietary restrictions. They went through the menu and offered ideas of what she could have and other dishes they could, and did, modify for her.The food wasn't made from the same sauces that every other Chinese restaurant uses. These were much better! I've had traditional Chinese food, and this resembles that, more than the Americanized Chinese food we are all used to.Conversation with the staff was very nice! They are welcoming and there to have a great experience with you. This is perfect as it makes the dining experience very pleasant and memorable.Thank you for a great experience!

Ordered from Phoenix after our usual restaurant not only lost our order but was also incredibly rude about it. Phoenix was an absolute joy to deal with - pleasant, friendly and extremely polite. Customer service was amazing, including communicating with us on the progress of the order. Food was great - hot, fresh and delicious. Highly recommend. Phoenix will be our first call from now on

The Phoenix is a decent spot in Ladysmith for a quick bite. Definitely can be better definitely can be worse. In a pinch it’s fine.

There’s no FREE drinking water when dining in which it’s very strange. They force you to buy drinks. Friend noodles are very salty.

Foods good, but super curious why when you ask for water you get bottled water you have to pay for and why the glasses were dirty :/
