The Timberland Pub & Liquor Store

We were staying in Ladysmith and I Google search a place to go for dinner and this place popped up. I would highly recommend it. It’s a cute little hole in the wall that no one would see off the main highway. We had a great meal a couple beverages and game of pool. I would highly recommend recommending getting off the highway and trying this little place.

Amazing little place off the beaten track. Service was outstanding and the food even better. Halibut and chips was amazing and I was told by a friend who ordered the Timberland Burger that it tasted as or better than it looked (made in house not frozen)
I rated atmosphere as a 3 just to it being a basic outdoor patio pub experience with no views or anything outstanding, but don’t be fooled by that as the service and food are a 10

The food is always awesome pub fair and the service is top-notch and friendly!
Having a dog friendly patio and our favorite server Cyan ensuring our four-legged buddies comfort is always a welcomed bonus.
I can’t drive through without making a pitstop!
Pool table , darts, Keno, pulltabs, and even a couple of kids arcade games! Always a great time spent at the Timberland’s pub :-)

My husband loves their Chefs salad. All the food here is great actually. Friendly staff and the patio is doggo friendly so, Ladybug 🐞 approved.

Went during the week before a flight at the airport across the road.

The seafood chowder was amazing!
Server knew we were on a timeline and helped to make sure we had our food quick.

My third time at the Timberland Pub. I'm happy every time I go.

Yesterday we had their soup of the day potato bacon, it was flavourful, lots of bacon and chunks of potato. Gluten free, hard to find in pubs.

The pakoras never fail to impress, fried perfectly and the chutney is so good.

Only one server on and she was slammed, but still made us feel taken care of.

The Timberlands has some of the best pub food in Nanaimo. Highly recommend the beef dip, burgers and any of their pizzas. Great service and a relaxed environment.

Only went to the liquor store (planning on the pub visit next trip) as we were camping down the road. They had a great selection of what we were looking for and the staff was very pleasant and helpful.
