The Timberland Pub & Liquor Store

A good ol-fashioned blue collar bar. Their burgers and curry dishes are awesome and served by friendly staff. I rarely give 5 stars. Overall one of my favorite places to go.

This place is such a hidden gem! The food here is incredible! People are so nice and friendly. Had the best deep fried oysters ever today! So fresh and cooked perfect and huge. Always make a point to go here when in the area! Great curry also, big portions!

The Grilled Halibut Burger was deliciously juicy and perfectly cooked.
The Bacon Cheese Burger was also juicy and perfectly cooked.
The fries are homemade and perfect. We are so full and sadly had to leave fries behind.

I recently visited Timberland Pub for lunch with three of my coworkers and our instructor during a training session at the Western Maritime Institute.

Timberland Pub is quite popular among the locals, and there is plenty of parking available. The entrance is simple, and the first thing that struck me was how clean and well-kept the place is. It doesn’t have that typical pub ambiance smell, which is quite refreshing. The seating areas and bar counters have a standard pub setup with a rustic look, similar to many other pubs I’ve visited.

When we arrived, there were only two tables occupied, likely due to the time and day of the week. However, I was informed that the place gets very crowded in the evenings, which didn’t come as a surprise.

The service was good. The staff were super friendly and attentive, which added to the positive experience.

I was pleasantly surprised to see some non-traditional pub main dishes on the menu, such as Butter Chicken, Curry Chicken, and Prawns and Spinach Curry. These options were a delightful change from the usual pub fare.

I ordered the Curry Chicken, and it was delicious. The portion size was great, and as someone whose favorite dish is curry, I can confidently say it met my expectations.
My coworkers who ordered the Butter Chicken also enjoyed their meal and praised its taste. The others ordered Pakora and Fries and was equally satisfied with the quality of the food.

We were all happy with the dishes, the prices were reasonable, and the service was excellent. Given the combination of good food, friendly service, and reasonable prices, I would definitely recommend Timberland Pub. It's a great spot for both locals and visitors looking for a satisfying meal in a welcoming environment.

Standard pub fair, but tasty and not overly greasy. Service was great, prices are average, we enjoyed out visit and will 100% be back again and again.
