Amazing dinner! Highly recommend the chef's tasting menu. Likely the best dinner we have ever had!

Two couples celebrating two birthdays. All ordered the Chef's 5 course dinner and we were pleasantly surprised and very impressed. First off, the two birthday people had a complimentary glass of bubbly to start. Dishes were varied and all delicious. Favorites were the burrata salad and the duck wings. Great dinner and also very good value.

We had a fabulous anniversary dinner date night at Block One - incredible service and an amazing meal! I had the halibut which was done to perfection and my husband had the beef short rib with assorted roasted veggies. We always have a great experience at Block One!

We received very special attention for our anniversary dinner. A complimentary glass of wine was much appreciated. The server was aware of my wife's allergies and there many options to accommodate her. The ingredients were fresh and seasonal. The server was fun and knowledgeable. We will definitely go back for a special occassion.

Venue & wines were excellent!! Service was great. Ordered the short ribs, but found them very fatty & over seasoned.

Just back from an amazing weekend exploring Lake country and had the BEST lunch at Block one. The food was OUTSTANDING! in addition to our FABULOUS server Randi! Such a highlight of our trip.

Cora was fantastic! She was very accommodating to all our different wine tasting requests 😀🍷 We will definitely be back !

Must try dish is the scallops - amazing flavours and cooked perfectly. Also, the tomatoe salad was exceptional and in season for local, ripe tomatoes.

We had a lovely afternoon visiting 50th Parallel Winery. The staff are extremely knowledgeable, kind, helpful and humorous.

It was my friend and I's first visit to Block One to celebrate my birthday luncheon. Sandy served us and she was so delightful with great suggestions on share plates. From the appy, to the Korean bread and wagout dish, salad and desert; it was all so decadent!! I will definitely return. 💕

Block One never disappoints! Service is always amazing and every meal is an epicurean delight. We were greeted by Anthony was a perfect host who made us feel welcome as if we were really good friends, (wicked set of boots too Anthony). Mirella was our server and exemplifies everything that is good in that role. Did I mention how great the food is? Treat yourself, you will be glad you did.

We were so disappointed with our experience here...both my husband and I made reservations separately to surprise each other because we were so excited to try this restaurant! We went with a party of 5 adults, and it's lovely and the ambiance is great and everyone is very friendly/nice...but we were all underwhelmed with the food. 2 of us had the duck - it was not seasoned (at all?) and it was cold...the sauce it laid on was seasoned (salty) and the duck needed to be coated in the sauce for it to be edible. SOOOO disappointed. The halibut was good as was the salmon, but we have had just as good (if not much better) at less fancy restaurants, and we expected the food to be excellent. The presentation of the dishes was beautiful but you can make a plate pretty but it doesn't help if it isn't cooked well/seasoned well and doesn't taste more than fine. Expensive and underwhelming for all of us. The service was good, but appeared understaffed, water not filled, wine not filled, plates not cleared for some time. Go for the wine, don't bother with the restaurant :( (try the Edge in Vernon instead!)
