Sqash soup was delicious. The Cinnamon Salmon starter was a riot of flavours, unfortunately the flavours, as in a riot, were all shouting at each other. Not one flavour complemented another. Total mess. The Pork Belly had the harsh taste of dry rewarmed pork, the compotes and gravies totally tasteless. The belly fat had cooled and congealed to lard. The accompanying greens were nice. The Seafood Pasta was very salty. There was good tastes inside if you could get beyond the salt. This kitchen needs a classically trained chef. Trying too hard to be avant-garde. The server was nice, but she had tasted none of the dishes, so couldn't advise on choices. Wine pairings were interesting, and the Pinot was very nice. They deserved better food.

Our server was AMAZING! Sorry we can't remember her name (too much Merlot and Meritage!) Everything we ordered was excellent: Charcuterie, rib eye, seafood pasta, steelhead and beet salad was superb... our only feedback would be to have some green vegetables like broccolini with the ribeye. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

While the menu is limited, the dishes cover all possible preferences and the wine pairings are well considered.

I've always enjoyed the Grey Monk dining experience. The new menu items were very tasty but I felt very overpriced

Always a pleasure to go to The Lookout. This is a preferred destination and the view is spectacular. Twice I have brought guests and we have seen what appear to be Ogopogos, multiple! The food is always top notch and even though I rarely drink the sparkling rose is a not to miss treat.

Quite the disaster...This restaurant USED TO be a gem in the Okanagan. However this is no longer this case. GM you can no longer rely on your amazing view to bring us in. Suggested wine pairings not available, long wait after initial bread without any comment from our server, severe allergy improperly managed despite lengthy conversation, and unattended washrooms. I count 4 strikes šŸ‘ŽšŸ½ Not solely on the server; breakdown of the team.

Decided to try the tasting trio instead of the wine tasting. Small canapƩs were a lovely accompaniment to the trio of wines. Beautiful evening on the patio. Service was great. Too bad they don't have flights of wine on the dinner menu so you can combine a wine tasting and dinner experience.

The meal was exceptional. The steelhead in particular was perfect. And all in a beautiful setting.

We decided to head to the Lookout for our 9th anniversary. We booked online far in advance and advised that it was our anniversary. We also booked the trio tasting flight with paired bites.
When we arrived, no one was at the front desk. Eventually a very kind new hostess came to seat us. Our waitress eventually came. She was lovely and full of energy. Neither the hostess nor the waitress knew it was our anniversary or what we had booked ahead, it seemed like the booking system information did not come through.
Our waitress brought us the wine flights right away once we asked about the trio, but then we waited for the bites for about 15 min. The white wines started to get warm, and one of the wines was served warm from the start. Our waitress kindly replaced it. We really would have appreciated a written description of the bites to help with the pairings. Our waitress was so kind and sweet. Overall the bites were very underwhelming, dry, and lukewarm. We decided to venture elsewhere afterwards. Sadly very different from our experience at the Lookout years ago.

Came here with a pre booked reservation for my girlfriend's birthday dinner, we were sat promptly and then FORGOTTEN about for over half an hour, without even being asked if we wanted drinks. I flagged the waitress down at the half hour mark, after she had walked past us and avoided eye contact a dozen or so times. (Who knows how long we would have waited if I hadn't) she apologized profusely and then eventually took our drink and food order, eventually being served our drinks nearly an hour after arriving. Food and drinks were okay, but not worth waiting an hour. By the time our bill came we had paid full price and left with a sour taste in our mouths. My girlfriend Emailed you guys detailing our poor experience at your restaurant and she hasn't received any word from management yet so I'm taking this poor review to Google. If we had been dining at a low tier restaurant, without a reservation, on a busy night, I would have understood being forgotten about. But when your dining at a prestigious winery that youve pre booked weeks in advance, with pricing that would give your grandmother a heart attack, you really do expect a far more inviting experience. The view was great though!

Me and my friend booked this trip long time ago and really looking forward to the dinner. However, I have to say it’s absolutely the most awful dinning experience I’ve ever had.
First, it took waitress at least 20mins to come to us and deliver water and menu. I ordered the chef’s special and picked soup to start. When the soup was served, there’s no spoon, no introduction, nothing. When the waitress finally brought us spoons, the soup has no taste but a very oily taste. I took one sip and gave up. My friend ordered two starters but the salad took them one hour to get to the table. During the one hour wait, no one comes to us and ask anything. Apparently no one cares.
When we saw a table by the sea side was empty, we asked if we could move to the table and we were told that table was reserved. I was confused and asked that we made a reservation too and was told all seats by the seaside were reserved for members. I understand members made more revenue for the company so I still didn’t complain anything.
I thought this is it until I saw that members arrived late than us and got food served FASTER. If you don’t want any clients other than members, you should just made it a members only restaurant. We ended up giving up hopelessly waiting for our food and just walked away.
If you are a member of them, you ll get great service, as wines are great. If you are not a member, please read through all low star reviews and decide by yourself if you want to risk it.

Not so great Father’s Day lunch. Server would ask for drinks then would walk away and finally after 20min we got our drinks and another 10min to wait to order. So 30min in and just got our orders in. Hours and 30min goes by after they bring out cheap champagne and says sorry your order was just put in…….wait another 30min for the food to come out. And we payed the $400bill and the champagne. Got reservations for 12:30 finally left at 2:51. Not really worth the Father’s Day tbh.

Group of 14 were well taken care of. Most did the 3 course dinner. I had salad, chicken schnitzel, and some foo-foo dessert. All were good. Nice evening to sit outside.

4 stars for view. 2 stars for food. 4 tablespoons of soup in a bowl. Thought it was a joke. Menu said linguini with prawns. Plate said small ball of linguini with A prawn. Another joke. Chicken schnitzel serving size was OK but dry and tasteless. Said served with salad. One slice small tomato and one slice cucumber. Another joke. Won’t be going back there and won’t be recommending it to our Airbnb guests.

Food was okay but it is, was very expensive for the quality and the service was incredibly slow as it took nearly two hours for brunch for four people. The view was spectacular though. So overall I would rate this as firmly mediocre.
