Amazing food and staff I really enjoy this restaurant and would definitely recommend checking it out😁
I tried the "fancy dog" special opted for the double cheeseburger, and to tell you the truth, it smelled so good I didn't make it home to eat my dinner, I pulled over at the boat launch and ate it sitting by the lake under the stars 15/10 job well done!!!

The Cow Restaurant offers a cozy, home-cooked dining experience with fantastic food and friendly staff. Visitors consistently praise the delicious ribs, Krabby Patty Sliders, and brownie dessert, along with the restaurant's wheelchair-accessible level entrance. This hidden gem is a wonderful stop for hikers or anyone passing through the area. Recent reviews highlight it as a nice stop around Cowichan Lake, with overall decent food and good service. Customers enjoyed dishes like penne carbonara, which had a flavorful thick sauce with baked cheese on top, and crab dip with Greek tones served with crispy, fresh Greek bread—their favorite here. The battered fish with snapper was flaky and moist, although some found the breading a little thick. Poutine was not recommended due to the lack of real cheese curds and salty gravy from powder. A cool coffee-flavored cold drink called the Cow Shaft, with cold foam and three vodka shots, was also enjoyed. Visitors appreciate the comfortable setting and well-made Caesars, while the Fajita salad with prawns has emerged as a hit. Breakfast options, including large bowls and the chicken Polo Loco, are favorites among regulars. The restaurant atmosphere is rustic and comfy, making it a lovely place to relax, with some customers describing their lunch as "epic" and expressing excitement to return.
