I love that Ed’s isn’t another crammed café. And there is no wifi! In a world of noise and disconnect it’s lovely to visit pockets of peace. Back to spaces where it’s just about the people across from us and those around us. Back to the simple things. (And my scone was yummy!)
What a cute place . Great breakfast wrap. Ed is so nice plus local music while we had our coffee. 2 talented gentlemen played guitars of older hits. So nice, not overwhelming. Inside and outside tables.
My partner and I are very appreciative of good coffee and good coffee is hard to come by. We have one place in Duncan that we like, and now we have a place in Lake Cowichan, at Ed's. Their coffee is so good. We had an excellent chat with who I assume was the owner. He was so passionate about coffee and you can tell he is in the business because of his genuine love for a good brew. I'm so happy this place is close to home as I am in Youbou.
