The chicken biryani was amazing! They do take out 15 min before close and we got some food late one night and wow we were impressed. Best biryani I’ve had in a long time with so much flavour. I got the shahi paneer and they flavour it perfectly and give huge portions with loud of paneer and rice!

This is our new go to spot. Indian food has always been a go to, even when I lived in Toronto. So impressed with the quality and taste. Cute restaurant too, I want to eat in soon. Belmont market makes it convenient. 15/10!!!!

Overall it is a nice restaurant. Their Gol Gappay, Paneer tikka and Fish Pakora is too good. If you are Muslim make sure halal options are prepared separately to avoid any cross-contamination with non-halal food.

We ordered Masala Paneer, Garlic Naan, and Lamb Biryani. The Masala Paneer and Garlic Naan were excellent—definitely the highlights of our meal. However, the Lamb Biryani was disappointing, as it felt more like lamb curry mixed with rice rather than a traditional biryani with layered flavors.

The ambience was great and added to the overall experience. Our server, Brittany, was attentive and pleasant, which we really appreciated. Overall, a mixed experience with some strong dishes but room for improvement.

Prices of food way over priced better options for Indian food available within same areas. Who charges $9.00 for 2 pieces of Samosa with a mini size sauce ? Samosa prices averages $1.50 to maximum $2.00 for a piece . They offer Less Quantity and over priced for their food .

We are regular customers at Authentic because the food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the restaurant has a phenomenal vibe. We went on New Year’s Eve like we usually walk in. Despite being so busy and the restaurant packed with customers; they still squeezed us in after requesting, because we were starving. We appreciate the service and kindness so much. We had a fantastic experience with take-out from Authentic Cuisine of India in Victoria! Even though we were just picking up, the atmosphere inside was great—warm and welcoming.

The food was absolutely delicious and so yummy. I’m pescatarian and especially loved the Prawn Goan Curry and the Fish Tikka; the seafood was fresh and the spices were perfect. My partner Francine, our kids Austin and Breanna, and her husband Rhys all thoroughly enjoyed the meal.

Excellent food and friendly service. We will definitely be ordering from here again!

Just got the chicken jalfrezi, no gravy! Big chucks of bland chicken absolutely yuck! Better go out of business if you are not interested! It isn’t jalfrezi at all! Had high expectations. Third rate quality!

Best Indian restaurant in the heart of Langford- one of my friend recommended this place and we ordered for take Out- Food was delicious- loved their Vegetarian options - if they maintain the quality this will be our go-to restaurant in the future. We ordered Garlic Naan and Shahi Paneer and loved 😍 it - Next time will try 🍽 Dine in as the atmosphere looks awesome when we went to pickup our order. Now no need to drive to Victoria to have authentic Indian cuisine as we reside in Langford
