A wonderful surprise in Langley! We were driving around Lani looking for lunch and stumbled upon this cozy little Japanese restaurant. From the moment we stepped in, we felt like we had entered a true local spot run by Japanese owners. The attention to detail in the presentation, flavors, and hospitality speaks volumes.

We ordered two bento boxes — everything was freshly made, with crispy tempura, tender teriyaki chicken, spring rolls, fresh salad, and neatly rolled sushi. The miso soup was rich and comforting, and the agedashi tofu had a perfect golden crust with a flavorful dipping sauce.

If you’re looking for a solid and authentic Japanese lunch in Langley, Akane is a must-visit. We’ll definitely come back!

We’re visiting from Ontario and currently on a trip in Vancouver. We searched on Google and found Akane in Langley—and we’re so glad we did! Courteous customer service and fresh quality food! It’s a small restaurant but they provide great service. While we’re waiting for our order, the server brought over a fried sushi roll and told us “it’s on the House!” Wow! Everyone in our family was impressed. After we tried the food, we realized their food is really good. We will definitely go visit again!

For starters the place is small but very cozy. When we got there the place was fairly busy. The staff were very kind and sweet, and they gave us complimentary rolls to try! Oh my goodness the food! Delicious and amazing! Definitely recommend and definitely would come back!
