It's possibly one of the best restaurants I have ever visited. The food and service demanded a far higher price than what I found on my bill at the end of the night.Like revealing a prized fishing hole, I don't want to let you all in on the secret, spoiling it for myself, but this place is just too good.

Trying to find a new dining experience and the algorithm God decided to recommend Annora that day and what a blessing it was.I shared the shrimp appetizer and the pork belly gnocchi, it was truly a dance of savory and sweet flavors. It was light and creamy, it was beautiful. The entree of halibut was a delight and finally a nice sweet chocolate browny to end the evening with a smile.

Annora came highly recommended. Went there for lunch today and it did not disappoint. The food was all local and fresh - very delicious. Was greeted and cared for by Chef Aaron which was a nice touch. I'll be back again!

This place definitely serves the best food in all of Surrey and Langley. The service, quality and presentation is just great, rivelling and better than some Michelin starred restaurants. The one issue is that the wine list is terrible for the quality of the food. Wines like Burrowing Owl or Bells Glos would be far better than these so called BC premium wines. Also a better sound selection would improve the ambiance. Have already made my reservation for next month! This restaurant should move to South Surrey where it would be much better appreciated! People still come in wearing ball caps like some side alley pub or Earls or Cactus Club. This plac e is far better than that!

What a treat! For a birthday surprise, I took my daughter out to this acclaimed restaurant. I had only heard good things yet had not yet experienced it. We were delighted with each course. Each appetizer was absolutely delicious and the main courses were beautifully served and so tasty! We had a lovely server who was so pleased that we were enjoying each bite so immensely. I would highly recommend this place for a sweet culinary experience.

Worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant. Waitress was condescending from the start. She ended up bringing the wrong wine (after correcting us on how the one we ordered was pronounced) and then when we tried to get her attention , she put up her finger and said "not right now". When we were finally able to flag her down and politely tell her that it was the wrong wine, she treated us like we were scum and didn't make eye contact after that. She just avoided us entirely and it was the most uncomfortable thing I've ever experienced. We didn't even try the food, we got up and left. Pretty sure that they put the glass of wine we sent back right back into the bottle.

6 of us went for a birthday dinner and brought our own birthday cake. We all deliberately chose this restaurant as we like to support local businesses. Dinner was “OK” as my $40 beef meal with 2 pieces of asparagus and a piece of beet the size of a loonie barely covered the plate with the potatoes and meat. It was also only room temperature. Some meals were OK but mine was not the only cold or lukewarm meal. A bottle of wine for $45 and my $40 meal came to $110 for just me. Most also had appetizers. We were served our birthday cake and all alarmed to find all 6 of us had a $7 cake cutting charge for a total of $42 because we brought our own cake! When we asked the owner he was quite rude and said he told us (he did no such thing). We all appreciate the plates and serving took time but this was ridiculous. More ridiculous was this owners rude and arrogant attitude particularly since we never even complained about the food. We have all been to this restaurant more than once before but none of us will be back!! Contrast that to today at cactus club where our friend was asked if they’d like a birthday dessert….beware as this is not a 5 star restaurant.

Outstanding. We waited several weeks for a Saturday dinner reservation and made the trip all the way from Vancouver for it, and it was well worth it. The food is beautifully presented and tasty. The focus on flavour is obvious. We had three starters: scallops, crab cakes, and the beet salad. All had accompanying flavours that were layered and that didn't over power the dish's focus ingredient. For mains we had the pork chop and a beef duo of short rib and tenderloin. Both were served atop vegetables and mashed potatoes. The pork chop had a delightful quince demi-glacé that was pleasing and a marvellous complement to the pork which was perfectly seared. The beef duo was terrific. And both were perfect, absolutely perfect in preparation and taste. It's a small room but it was warm and airy. They still have dividers up which was reassuring but not obtrusive. And the service was terrific. A young man, the owner's son seated us and brought us water efficiently and professionally. And our waitress was great; she remembered our order and we were looked after so well. Highly recommended.

My first visit to Annora was great! The scallop spaghetti was amazing, I loved the red pepper sauce. The squash cheesecake was so good. Small location which is awesome so make sure you get a reservation booked!! Can't wait to go again.

I agree with the previous comment about the “not-so-nice smell”. That was our warning to turn around and not eat there. Seriously, the smell is so bad in there that I felt like throwing up. Even after sitting there for half an hour. I never got used to it. Seeing that this has been pointed out before, management should deal with this issue. The server/chef had a filthy black apron on with food bits all over it. That grossed me out as well, especially since it was at eye-level. He should wash it more often, or better yet buy white ones and wash them daily. The food wasn’t that good either. The flavours were unusual but not in a good way.I wouldn’t go back there at any price, and the price was a bit high.

Last night was my first visit to Annora. Hats off to the chef, the food was delicious in all categories ie Starters, Entree and dessert. The service however left a lot to be desired. The waitress was curt and very unfriendly. Her explanation of the different menus was not clear so when she came back to take the order, she was not happy with our interpretation of her explanation. The bus girl reached over plates of food to pick up and refill a water glass or to sprinkle pepper. That would be a learning moment where she should be told to reach from behind a customer rather than over someone's plate; Dinner dishes were being cleared from our table while one out of five customers was still eating. The same thing happened when clearing the dessert dishes, very rude. Then the waitress placed the dessert menu on the table and said that we can now look at what's available and let her know. She didn't return for at least 20 minutes and then said that the menu was not required because we had placed dessert order at the start, we could have told her that had she not ran away from the table after dropping the menu. Then when it came to the bill, one of the customers wanted to pay the bill of another person who had left for the washroom. When she said that to the waitress, the waitress was pissed and said you should have said that at the start. Well the customer couldn't because it was a surprise! Not a problem, that reaction was reflected in her tip. When the receipt came out for the customer next to me, rather than place it on the table, she more or less threw it. NOT A GOOD FIRST IMPRESSION!! However, I will repeat, the food was excellent!!

The perfect place for an intimate date night. Make sure to book a few days in advance, the tables are limited and it’s popular because the food speaks for itself.

1. First bread is hot and fresh, perfect.2. Second bread is cold and hard, bad.3. Appetizers are interesting and delicious.4. Short rib is mediocre, lack of wow flavour. WeSecond visit: they should really increase the prices. The quality of the food deserves a higher compensation. Also, its too hard to reserve a table. Very crowded every time.ordered medium well wagyu, but we got well done hard chewy pieces.5. Desserts are very good.We are happy to find this good restaurant in Langley, hope everything gets better in future. Maybe the first Michelin star restaurant outside of Vancouver.
