My partner and I checked out Ashoka on a weeknight for dinner because of the positive online reviews and were not disappointed! We ordered the butter chicken and coconut lamb as well as garlic naan and drinks. We enjoyed both curries. They were flavourful and portions were good too for the price we paid.
Something that really stood out for me was how thoughtful and attentive the waitress and the staff were. When we went in, they had Hindi music videos playing on their TV. Noticing we probably didn’t speak or understand Hindi, without us asking, they turned their music to Christmas tunes so we can enjoy our dinner better. In addition, I noticed their naan had cilantro. When I told them I was allergic to cilantro, they were willing to accommodate my request for cilantro free naan.
Will definitely recommend and return !

Good food, good place and above all good staff and owner/manager. Our go to place for all Indian + Continental + Fusion food catering needs. Great selection of menu items, willing to take custom orders and price is very reasonable.
I highly recommend this place specially for any catering needs whether it’s a small gathering or big, I can always count on them. Have done 3-4 catering orders this year for small to big events for mixed crowd. They do great customization for non-indian food too and accommodated our dietary restrictions specially for food allergies. Owner/Manager is a great person to deal with, always go above and beyond!

Very disappointing experience. The Ashoka Special Biryani (GF) seemed quite stale and not fresh at all — honestly the worst-looking biryani I’ve ever been served. While the Rogan Josh was good, the overall food quality just wasn’t there. Both the Ajwaini Fish Tikka (GF) and the noodles were below average and felt poorly prepared. There are many other Indian restaurants offering far better quality at lower prices. I would recommend avoiding this place

Been ordering from them for years.Recently the portion size has drastically shrank. Was never cheap but having enough for 2 meals for 2 people made it fine. Now it's barely enough for 1 meal. Time to move on unfortunately.

Nice food and great service. I came at 2:50 today and asked if they still have the lunch buffet. They very nicely❤️ welcomed me and prepare warm bread and even when I asked if they can add more lamb in the curry, they offered a regular size dish of lamb curry. This really shows their hospitality and truly value their customers. All the dishes and desserts and the chai are very tasty. Highly recommend👍👍👍! Will come back again.
