My son took me for mother's day today, so disappointed, had reservations and ordered a charcuterie board, first time we went there it was a wonderful experience so went there today, they gave us a box to go as the charcuterie order, was told that's how they are doing it now, wow felt like cheap take out everything just thrown in a small box and a small bag with a few crackers, nothing compared to our first visit would not recommend it now, so sad they cheaped out, mother's day was their time to shine but unfortunately they failed and will not return, wow huge difference

We loved our time here! Our host was pleasant and explained the different options for service, you can do the full tasting experience or just get a self-guided wine flight to enjoy under their gazebo! We opted to choose our own pours and she still gave us plenty of background info on the selections we made. Well-crafted and of course drinkable! :)

I am a bit late with this review - we were here on a tasting tour in late January 2025, it being our first stop, and I really enjoyed it - the wines were excellent, and the little tasting plate went very well with them. The lady presenting the wines was very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend it to everyone, any time of year - me coming from Europe, it was very interesting to see how a Canadian winery operates and approaches wines. Best of luck to this place! I'll be back whenever I get back to Vancouver. :)

Pinot Gris was excellent. Charcuterie for 2 was delicious and perfectly paired. Service was awesome. Loved this place. So pleasant peaceful and romantic

One of the best wineries around! Their set up is beautiful and the atmosphere is fun and comfortable. The wine selection is great. Pam did our wine tasting and she is so sweet, friendly, fun and personable. Definitely request her if you can. Will be returning because of her and the fun experience we had for my friend’s bachelorette!

Would never recommend. Went on a wine tour for my friends birthday today and have been treated wonderfully the entire time. That was until we arrived at this establishment. Very rude staff, wanted nothing to do with us. We had other customers of there’s telling us to not even bother to get out of our limousine, as they were very rude and judgmental. Stopped their wine tasting mid way through and asked them to pay for things that were not required until the end. We didn’t even get out of our limo. Very rude, bad hostesses, would never recommend
I would not recommend this winery as one of the wineries to visit in South Langley. Venue is nice, however, I believe there are better wines at other estate wineries.

I haven’t been to Backyard Vineyards for quite a few years (probably since 2016/2017) and we decided to stop by this weekend as we were visiting Langley from Chilliwack. We absolutely loved the wine we tasted. What a local gem! We purchased a few bottles and decided to split one on the spacious grassy area and sat back and relaxed for 2 hours. Great stop - I would definitely recommend!

Excellent wine tasting yesterday by Kathy. Tasted all the Reserve wines and they were awesome. Charcuterie and wine in the gazebo rounded off a great visit. Generous charcuterie for 2, appreciate the size as so many are too tiny these days. Well worth the visit!
