Excellent food, nice layout, it was raining but the outside patio looked inviting. Wide selection of Canadian wine. I'm sure it has lots more, just to full to wander. Very clean. Nice drive into solitude. Lots of parking.

We were really disappointed with our experience here. I called ahead to confirm that the vineyard was pet friendly and was told yes, but what they didn’t mention is that dogs are only allowed in the picnic area, which has no table service—something we only found out after arriving.
We got there around 4:00 PM, hoping to enjoy some food and wine, but were told that food service was over. Strangely, we watched a server bring food to the next table shortly after. When we asked, we didn’t get a clear explanation.
It felt misleading and poorly communicated. We were excited for a relaxing afternoon, but instead left frustrated and unwelcome. Would not recommend unless you’re okay with unclear policies and being treated differently

We went to backyard wineries this weekend, the service was fantastic! The winery itself is beautiful with tons of outdoor seating and the wine is delicious. I wish I could remember our servers name, she was fantastic and so friendly, provided us with some great recommendations as well.

Great place to go for a picnic and sit with a glass of wine for an aftenoons getaway. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable on their wines too. Love it there.

I had a party of 11 women pop into Backyard, unannounced, and was greeted by the friendliest, most accommodating, group of staff at any winery in town. They quickly set up for us to have a tasting (despite them being quite busy) and were patient with our crew. The wine, of course, was delish but the experience with the staff is what set them apart! We will all be back! Thank you so much for making our day!

Great environment, especially outside! Friendly staff and good wines. I wouldn’t bother ordering food here though: we bought the $18 chips and guacamole but ended up getting a tiny supermarket pre-packaged kit with poor quality guacamole. Same for the pretzel.

My son took me for mother's day today, so disappointed, had reservations and ordered a charcuterie board, first time we went there it was a wonderful experience so went there today, they gave us a box to go as the charcuterie order, was told that's how they are doing it now, wow felt like cheap take out everything just thrown in a small box and a small bag with a few crackers, nothing compared to our first visit would not recommend it now, so sad they cheaped out, mother's day was their time to shine but unfortunately they failed and will not return, wow huge difference

Our host was pleasant and explained the different options for service, you can do the full tasting experience or just get a self-guided wine flight to enjoy under their gazebo! We opted to choose our own pours and she still gave us plenty of background info on the selections we made. Well-crafted and of course drinkable! :)
