Didn't like the stuffed chicken wings. Not what I expected at all. The chicken skewers are good though. Great flavour and is super tender. The pad sew is okay. Service is pretty bad

Tried Baan Chok Dee and overall, it was just okay. Their Thai iced tea was good and refreshing, and the pork skewers were definitely the highlight – juicy and flavorful. Unfortunately, the rest of the food didn’t live up to expectations. The fried rice came out mushy, and the Thai basil chicken was disappointing – way too many veggies, barely any basil, and we ordered it spicy but there was no spice at all. The pad thai was also pretty mediocre, nothing that stood out. For the price, I expected more authentic flavors. Decent spot if you’re nearby, but not one I’d rush back to.

I was very nervous coming into this restaurant my wife is deathly allergic to coconut. We explained to the server and hostess our concerns and they made sure our concerns were passed on. The kitchen prepared our food to ensure no coconut was present in any of the food. Some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. Thank you for ensuring we had a great experience.

Excellent food, substantial portions. Professional and cheerful service. The ambience is not too bad. We've always managed to find street parking across the street.

I ordered the calamari from the photo menu—it looked so good and showed a big portion. But when my order arrived, the serving was too small and definitely not worth $21. I called them, but they said they couldn’t do anything about it. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We eat here periodically and the food we ordered has always been great. BUT this time I ordered the drunken noodles w/beef and the flat noddles weren't the big fat flat rice noodles but some crap you can by a 7-11. And the beef was chewy and rough like bubble gum. Very disappointed. I could of done better making it at home.

My partner and I, along with our two best friends, went to dinner last night for the first time. We did not expect anything really, but for our surprise, everything is more than our expectations. The place, the atmosphere, the smile, the service and the food. I felt like I was in Thailand and had our Thai traditional home cook meals. My partner loved the wine. He said good restaurant knows to serve good selection of wines. Definitely the best one in town,in tricities and in Vancouver for sure.

I used to go to Ban Chok Dee regularly, and it WAS my favorite Thai place for years, but recently the food has gone downhill A LOT!

The flavor is just not as good, and the protein (you pay extra for) is lacking - there was barely any meat in our dishes.

We ordered Drunken Noodle (always a go to) which was good, but not as good as it used to be, and very little beef. We also ordered Ginger Beef which was really not the quality I expected at all, it was quite boring and bland.
And lastly we ordered Yellow Curry (another go to), the curry itself was quite good, but again the chicken (which was an additional $3+) was basically non-existent.

These three dishes + tip came to over $90 for three people.
Sad to say, but it's hardly worth going here anymore.

Food was great but the service not so much. An hour to close and they’re spraying cleaner all over the place getting residual spray into our food. They’re already rushing everyone to leave.

The food at Ban Chok Dee in Langley is flavorful, but I’m rethinking dining here again after learning that nearly everything is made with MSG and seed oils. Someone in our party has an MSG allergy, and when I asked if a dish could be made without it, the staff said all their sauces contain MSG and nothing could be modified. The only alternative offered was a salad roll—which is an appetizer, not a meal. It’s disappointing that there are no entree options for people with dietary restrictions. I expected more flexibility and transparency from a restaurant of this caliber.

Most authentic tasting thai food I've had in Vancouver. Different veg but same flavours. Really nice prawns. Will definitely be back.
