This is one of my favourite gems in Ft.Langley. The food was amazing (I had steak and potatoes). Live music, no wait to get in (doesn't happen often here). Great staff. Not 5 stars as some of the portions are small imo. (Pictures are from a recent visit).

The hostess in this place is one of the worst. She tried to persuade us to not eat there because we had a baby with us and she acted really rude when we wanted a larger table (for 5). I’ve been to many restaurants in the city and in all greater Vancouver, in none of those we have found as rude as a person as this young woman at the establishment. NOT RECOMMEND

Went for brunch with my partner and young daughter. Honestly, for a restaurant in such a family friendly area (and that was actually full of families at the time), we were shocked by the lack of amenities for children. No highchairs. No change tables in the washrooms. The food was amazing, but kiddo hurt herself when she slipped off a seat. Just an unnecessarily uncomfortable set up. ?♀️Kid-friendliness: Not at all

We LOVE beatniks, it is so cozy and the food is fantastic. We have eaten here so many times, bringing friends and family here for casual nights and celebrations. Tonight we tried to dine with our family tonight (including our 8 month old) and the hostess informed us there are no high chairs so we had to find another place to eat tonight. Otherwise they would get a 5 star review for sure. I know kids are not welcome everywhere, but beatniks never gave that impression. Sadly we will not be able to come here again unless we choose to get a babysitter, which is too bad.

I always have a great experience here. I recently tried the wild sockeye sandwich on a brioche bun, and it was fantastic. We like to go on Thursday when they host live music ?. I would highly recommend!
I didn't like the creative salmon sushi. We thought it would be a healthier option, but it's not. The gnocchi tasted too salty.Dietary restrictions: Mushroom gnocchi is free from oregano and wine

Went in for brunch today. Was seated and waited for 10 mins with no one coming to even acknowledge us. No water was served, no introduction of who our server would be. Looked up and saw 4 staff chatting at bar. Decided to pack up and go. As we walked out no one even questioned why we were leaving. It was not a very busy afternoon as we got seated immediately so not sure what happened. Ate here before and it was great. So disappointed this time around.

Had a fantastic lunch here, chicken burger was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time with a lovely spicy kick to it, server Carmen was great and very attentive. Amazing craft beer line up and beer is server in a frozen glass!! Would recommend.
