The sandwiches are a little pricey, but they're very very tasty. They put a little too much shredded lettuce on them for my liking. Overall though it's a much healthier way to eat and it's very filling! Would recommend trying them if you're lookin for something other than greasy fast food.☺️☺️

I haven’t been here for a number of years. I wasn’t thrilled with my first experience, but I thought it’s been so long, that I wanted to give them another chance.
Disappointment was an understatement. WAAYYYY over priced for what you get. I ordered the smoked meat on rye. My jaw dropped to the floor when they rang it up and was close to $24 for just a sandwich! Sandwich was satisfactory at best. Soggy, meat was chewy and they didn’t add the extra mustard that I asked for.
Service was ok, but the place is looking tired. Won’t ever be back - as there are a million places in the area where your dollar takes you way further. This company will be under water soon enough if they don’t start charging realistic prices for the quality and quantity you get.

I’ve been coming here for years, usually once a week. I always get the same thing. I switch out the cheese and tomato for pickle. Never been charged extra until today. In addition to them raising their prices again. Close to $30 for the sandwich, drink and forced tip. Used to be under $20 a few years ago. Better places close by. Won’t be back.

Visited for the first time and probably the last, I ordered the large smoked meat sandwich which meant extra meat basically after tax and a 15% tip my sandwich came to $25 after receiving a very small package I was like this is $25? Was meant cheese mustard and bread. The sandwich was decent but not $25 worth not even close and after $25 I'm still hungry add chips and a drink you're at $35 for a fast food place. Unreal pricing. I won't be able to afford eating there again.

I recently visited Big Star Sandwich and had a pretty good experience overall. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. The sandwich I ordered was delicious—packed with fresh ingredients and full of flavor, definitely satisfying. However, the atmosphere left something to be desired. It wasn’t the most inviting or cozy, which made it a bit hard to fully relax and enjoy the meal. While the food and service were great, I wish the ambiance matched the quality of the sandwich. Still, I’d recommend it for anyone looking for a tasty bite with excellent customer service!
