We bought a coffee and carrot cake slice to go and then sat on the patio. I like how clean the inside and patio is. The flowers on the table outside was a nice touch. The carrot cake however was not great. The coffee was good.
I really liked the baked goods but for sure had some other issues. The biggest one is the fact they have 1 person doing the til + food. We took 26 minutes in line, 4th in line, to get two croissants. We watched probably 10 people leave the line during that time or just look at the door and not bother... If they simply had one person on cash one person bagging orders or two cashier's they would be way, way faster and keep more customers. Secondly the coffee is massively...
I come here frequently and have been coming for years. The sticky fruit bun is one of my favorites, but something has changed. There is less fruit and lemony icing, not sure if the Iranian raisins are used still. I would pay more for the bun to taste like it used to. A nutty lemon sweet crunchy bun with a tart lemon icing drizzled on top.
