I stopped by on a Sat afternoon around 4 PM. The two female staff members seemed more focused on chatting with each other than helping me. I tried to order a shrimp croissant sandwich, but was told they only had two options left (Mediterranean and another one). It made me wonder, why keep the café open until 7 PM if most items are already sold out by mid-afternoon? I thought this cafe had a good reputation. Their explanation didn’t feel convincing, and overall it came across as if they weren’t interested in being there. I know people who would be so grateful to have this job and provide bare minimum customer service and sadly this is the state of people working in cafes lately. They do. not. care.

I love taking the kiddos here for a treat and to watch planes take off. The treats are delicious and the coffee good, what more can you ask for?

Excellent coffee, very attentive service and the way you like your coffee. The butter crossiants are amazing, as well as all the desert. I've tried many. Nice laid back atmosphere, plenty of room to sit, nice view to the airport runway, nice cosy chairs in the airport lobby. Clean and modern atmosphere.

I’m a big fan of Blacksmith cafe —especially the Fort Langley and 200 Street locations—but unfortunately, my experience at this location has consistently been disappointing.

The staff here always come across as rude and disinterested, like they don’t want to be there at all. It creates a really unpleasant atmosphere from the moment you walk in.

The food is just as underwhelming. I tried the new PB&J pastry, and it was so dry I couldn’t even finish it. It tasted like straight peanut butter with no jelly at all. My wife ordered a strawberry matcha, but it barely had any strawberry flavour—just a bland, watered-down drink. On top of that, the scones are never done right; they’re either underbaked and doughy or overcooked and dry.

If this location keeps going in this direction, I honestly don’t see it lasting much longer

Fancy snacks to enjoy. Especially while having a very nice coffee. Hot chocolate was also extremely good. Friendly staff, sadly, atmosphere was pretty cafeteria style. Nice seats and a view of the planes. Some seating outdoors, as well as inside.

You are greeted the moment you enter.
The young lady looks directly at you along with a wonderful smile.
She was busy.
Kinda’ special having a coffee while looking across the airport with tiny planes ready to take you into the big blue expanse.
All of their pastries are baked fresh each morning.
Some of the best coffee in the Langley Murrayville Five corners area.
You won’t be disappointed.
Great service. wonderful selection of menu items.
Highly recommend a visit.
Just 5 minutes from the Five Corners in Murrayville
Located at the Langley Airport off 216th

Coffee is amazing. They do the best DRY cappuccino. The only place in Langley that does it properly I find. I also love the honey they sell. Bakery treats are good. I wish there were a few more healthier treat options but when I want to indulge in a chocolate cookie this is the place I come! Cookies are sooo good.

Always plenty of seating since you can use the airport lounge area and outdoor patio. Overall neat atmosphere and very kid friendly. There’s lots of room for young ones to move around safely while moms enjoy coffee. Plus there are kids books available and airplanes to watch!

The drinks were excellent, but the cookies were as hard as a rock, despite the staff claiming they were freshly baked that morning. Additionally, the staff charged me for paper cups, even though I requested dine-in service.

My kid spilled the tea on me and the floor. They cleaned it right away and got me another cup of tea on house! Thank you so much!

Friendly service, the best cup of black coffee around, and quaint atmosphere, even with fresh cut flowers on every table!

Hands down the best coffee in town! Every cup is rich, flavorful, and perfectly brewed. The cozy atmosphere and friendly baristas make it the perfect spot to start my day or take a coffee break. If you’re a coffee lover, this place is a must-visit! I used to visit the Fort Langley location a lot when I worked nearby. I don't work there anymore but whenever I am close by I always try to stop in!
