Have been coming here for years to enjoy the tortilla soup in the lovely Mexican bowls! Also the drinks in the crooked glasses !! This time watery soup in china bowls, plastic water glasses & jugs. The whole flavour & quaintness was lacking - not sure I’ll be returning 😒

A very cozy Mexican place with some fantastic vibes! The decorations are nice, and their birria tacos are amazing with such a rich flavour. We also got their birria soup, which I also highly recommend. It's definitely not something I expected, but it was quite a treat :)

The vibes are amazing here! As a mexican, I'd recommend it, I'm definitely coming back! The server Wendy was very friendly and provided the best service, she was both attentive and also let us enjoy our food in peace! The food was very good, I loved the lengua tacos. They also give 1 free chips and salsa for the table.

This place left us with a very bad impression. The food was average at best, and the service didn’t stand out—but the real issue was the 18% gratuity they added to the bill without warning.
When I questioned it at the end, they said it was “written on the menu.” Maybe it was, but it was definitely not visible or clearly communicated. The server didn’t mention it at any point, and expecting customers to catch small print during a meal is just dishonest.
Automatically charging a tip without saying anything feels sneaky and disrespectful. It’s not about the money—it’s about principle. If you have to trick people into tipping, maybe your service isn’t worth it in the first place.
Won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who values transparency or fair treatment.
