I had a very disappointing experience at Creekside Coffee in Langley. The staff were rude, dismissive, and unprofessional.
My cousin asked for her coffee to be made sugar-free after ordering, and instead of simply accommodating the request, the staff responded with attitude and repeated back, âYou didnât order that,â while speaking to each other in another language and visibly showing annoyance.
When I placed my order, I forgot to mention that I wanted it iced. I politely asked for it to be iced while they were still making it, and was told, âItâs already made.â When I then asked for a cup of ice on the side, the staff seemed irritated and gave it to me in a dine-in glass even after I said it was to-go.
I also noticed other customers receiving poor serviceâthe person behind me had to repeat his order four times before being spoken to dismissively as well.
Overall, the customer service here is extremely poor. The staff clearly lack basic courtesy and communication skills. We will not be returning, and I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a respectful, customer-friendly experience.
If you want to be treated rudely, this might be the place for youâbut otherwise, avoid Creekside Coffee.

This cafe has a homey, warm and rustic vibe with plenty of seating and 2 giant stuffed bears by the entrance. Products range from hot caffeinated drinks and teas to snack products like cookies and sandwiches, which are reasonably priced. Service was quick and generally welcoming. There is causal songs playing in the background and is quiet enough to have a conversation with someone. Beware that if you sit at a table without ordering, a staff member will approach you asking if you will order something. If not, you will be asked to leave. You will also need a code to use their bathrooms. This is a great place to sit down and work and hang out with one another. I usually like doing graphite drawing here as there are ample lighting to do so.
The atmosphere is quite nice to look at. It's a very tight space inside leaving the ordering and waiting line in the middle of the walk way. If you aren't careful you can trip over someone. I ordered a croissant sandwich, and a medium chai latte. Both were really good, as well as the oatmeal raisin cookie I later ordered. The pricing is way over the top; croissant costed 14 something. Cookie being 4 something, and the chai latte being 6.50. The parking isn't too bad either, though it can be a bit tricky. It's not a bad place to stop for coffee! Personally not somewhere I'd go again.
