Just at dead frog and trying to get a staff member’s attention was like hailing a cab in New York City no chance. Just popped in for a quick beer. I’m sure they sell beer if they had a staff member that cared. It was only 5:35 pm didn’t look like they were busy.

The appies we had were very good but the whole menu is super pricey. I will say it is in line with other breweries. Because of the heat, I had a Bellini that was $13 and basically an extra small slurpee with booze. My mistake maybe, it’s a brewery. Had 2 different lagers that were both basically exactly the same over carbonated blah. It was music day, which for some reason is always super loud and intrusive everywhere and this was no different. When you can go everywhere on a Sunday and get happy hour, spending over $100 for this one hour experience was honestly disappointing. Might just be me.
*Thanks for the reply and you have a beautiful place with an amazing menu, maybe just sticker shock on my end and my old ears didn't love the volume, but I am sure some did. Also there was definitely no sangria at all in the Bellini. The beer really was just average though.

Great place to take the kids for some board games, and dessert pretzel. Plus dad gets a beer. Staff are so accommodating with the kids. Try and stop by at least once a month on the weekends. Sundays around 2 they have live music, which my son loves. Makes it even more of an experience. We also really enjoy the food selection. Something for everyone.

Incredibly rude interaction from a server during my visit. Some people just shouldn't take on certain employment if they can't respectfully engage customers. What's even worse is the fact that I posted my complaint a month ago and management doesn't seem to care enough to address the problem or even respond to the negative review.

I hosted a musical event at Dead Frog just a week ago, and the staff could not have been more helpful and willing to work with us to make it a special event. The artists were very pleased with how hospitable the staff were, and everyone there was having a great time. The beer is fresh and the pizza was outstanding - get the hot honey!

I recently visited Dead Frog Brewing and had a mixed experience. While I appreciate their creativity with beers, and they certainly have some unique options worth trying, other aspects of my visit fell short.
First off, I ordered the poutine expecting the traditional cheese curds, but they used a cheese sauce instead, which really missed the mark. Oddly, my dish didn’t even come with any cheese on it initially, and I had to ask for it to be corrected. For a classic item like poutine, it was disappointing that they didn’t stick to the traditional ingredients. Furthermore they put to much gravy on the poutine so that the tater tots are soggy and falling apart.
The atmosphere also left something to be desired. The furniture and chairs felt outdated and uncomfortable, which made it hard to settle in and enjoy the experience fully. I think a refresh of the seating and decor would go a long way in improving the vibe of the place.
That said, the beer selection is a highlight here. I love that Dead Frog Brewing experiments with different styles and flavors; it’s clear they put thought into their brews. If you’re there just for the beer, it’s worth a visit, but the food and ambiance could use a bit of improvement to make the experience more enjoyable overall.
