The service was good, as usual, and the evening itself was fine, but Earls lost a long-time customer tonight.
I'm a proponent for limited menus, so it didn't bother me when they started stripping theirs down. I missed their sundaes, but my waistline was happy when they 86d them permanently. I made peace with the egregious shrinkflation the calamari was hit with. I even got over losing the oil+balsamic vinegar and focaccia bread. But the war crime they committed against burgers can not be forgiven.
The Earls bacon cheddar burger was amazing, and with very little deviation, my primary choice at Earls for the last 30ish years. It may have had occasional tweaks over the decades, but it is unrecognizable now. What was once a smash patty now tastes like it came from M&M's. The bun used to be light and airy and possibly made in-house, and now it tastes like it was grabbed from the day-old bin at Safeway. The toppings that used to compliment the patty perfectly now clash with it. And the cherry on top is the insulting way they plate it: cut in half with sticks through the halves, presented in such a way to distract from the fact that it's about 60% the size of the old burger and even more expensive.
It's depressing watching the mid-range dine-in industry slowly collapse and die right in front of my eyes.

Exceptional service once again from the staff from the moment we arrived and throughout our dinner. Food we ordered was great and served quickly for a busy Saturday night. Can't say enough....will definitely be back soon!!!
Took a long time to get the bill after we told the waitress that we were finished and didn't want dessert.
The service and food were absolutely amazing! Thank you to the staff for making my birthday special, will be back again!

Great Happy Hour & the food was excellent. It does get loud especially during BC happy hour.
It was all pretty good. Food just a little slow and it wasn't busy at all. But Jayden was awesome and he even gave us a little dessert. Nothing says sorry about that like a sweet treat. All the staff were super friendly which is very nice to experience. As a regular. I really appreciate the efforts.
Service was very slow. Good, but slow. Slow to get seated, slow to get orders taken, slow to get dinner and super slow to get dessert and then the bill.
We had the best time ever at Earls Langley. their new Happy Hour is a must we got the Hugo Lemon Drop Martini which our server Carly recommended! We got some HH snacks (BBQ Crispy Ribs, Corn avocado dip and free chips and salsa!!!) The manager Tessa came by to check on us and service was beyond amazing. Thank you Carly and Tessa for making our night so special!!!
my mom and myself went to earls Langley today for happy hour and it was amazing! New happy hour menu is great pricing and delicious! Our server kaitlyn was very quick and attentive and took amazing care of us, she made our dine in at earls so enjoyable. We would highly recommend Kaitlyn if you're visiting earls Langley. The margaritas were delicious and the complementary chips and salsa were a very nice touch. 1010 dining experience for us this evening thank you earls!
