This was my first time eating at Ellas Grill and was pleasantly surprised. My friend and I both had the same item for lunch... chicken souvlaki wrap with fries. It was delish and would order it again.

Food's fantastic, and though it does take a while to arrive and is a bit on the expensive side, it's worth every penny as an occasional treat and possesses generous portions. Those who enter tend to leave well-fed, happy, and a bit heavy around the waist.
Don't sleep on the more low brow and cheaper menu items either. I tried the chicken fingers with fries and those things were moist, juicy, and crispy while being much cheaper than other menu options. I expected copper and struck gold instead. Seriously, those things are fantastic.
It's a shame about the pipe burst. I occasionally drive by and find myself checking to see if they've re-opened. I was quite fond of the place before they closed down. Hopefully, they'll be able to bounce back from the loss.

I see their doors are temporarily closed , I'm hoping it's so they can send the staff to be trained on how to treat the customer's decent and respectfully and then also send their chefs back to school on how to cook Greek cuisine, apparently they've had decades of training yet I can YouTube any one of their dish recipes and have it turn out tenfold better then anything we have tried there the three chances we gave them.

Read some of the reviews and I don’t think this restaurant is getting the credit deserved. My wife and I are Greek food junkies we have been to every Greek restaurant from Vancouver to Abby. Ellas grill is the best we have ever had, the chef is amazing must have been his 10 yr experience as head chef in a hi end Greek restaurant in Germany. The potions are huge the food is amazing. Where can you get a huge portion of chicken souvlaki( two massive skewers) for under 25$ now a days. 6 yes 6 delicious Greek lamb chops for just over 25$ most I’ve ever got was 4 anywhere. He puts so many potatoes and rice we alway have enough leftovers for a second meal. In closing we weren’t sure what to expect when we walked in and was greeted by an Indian girl who was very friendly btw, we have been in 5 times since we found it a few months ago. We also had a passing in the family and the after gathering from out of town guests was at our home we ordered 18 lamb chops, 12 beef skewers 20 chicken skewers received about 100 potatoes( literally)massive amount of grilled veggies, Greek salad, Bread and about 4 liters of Tatziki for 500$ everyone was amazed fed 20+ people we gave out leftovers and our family had Greek food for 3 more days straight, what a deal!! So if you want a small quiet place to go where the chef actually comes to your table to check in on you in our small little town you know where to go. Highly recommended 6 stars from Dennis and Raelene.

My friend and I found this place since we were around the border but it was delicious! We got the fettuccine chicken alfredo and the lamb dish. The lamb was so tender and well cooked. The fettuccine wasn’t too creamy which I loved. Great service and delicious food, would come again.

Food was amazing, service was lacking. The waitress barely checked on the table, we had to go to the bar to get the bill. I asked for a glass of wine, she double checked what I wanted and then didnt bring it. Told her I didnt want it and instead of an apology she said “oh”. Hopefully shes just new but it wasnt a great experience.

Food was mediocre and over cooked there was a hair in my gyros as well. The staff was strange and slow. Kept calling our phones while we were in the restaurant (we had called in to make a reservation before) and then accused of us of calling them again as we were eating. Didn't really apologize or anything either. It was a weird experience I half expected it to be some prank show.
