We drove by at 12 and it was busy ..Tells you how good it was going to be!! We did our groceries and came back after 1 . It 100% was the best sandwiches ever! Fries were fresh, hot and so good! Thank you for the delicious lunch. Definitely coming back.

Ive been a client of Estrella's for years. 8 years to be exact. Always wonderful, eat in or take out. On the expensive side but always worth it.
We haven't been in about a year now but we decided to get some takeout today. Got a normal sized poutine and she showed me the size of the box it was going to go in, got 2 sandwiches for 16$ each, the regular smoked meat sandwich cause bow their more premium sandwiches are 18$ and up.
This is what we got.
The poutine is literally a quarter of the box it came in with. Ridiculous. Are you telling me you can't even fill the box with FRIES for $10.00 ? Are potatoes now so expensive you had to reduce the amount you give clients ? I drove an hour total to get this and I feel laughed at and frankly, robbed. Ive never been so mad. 3$ for the smallest cup of coleslaw ive ever seen.
Estrella's used to be premium and thats how we justified paying this much. Now not only the quality went down dramatically but the prices went up and the quantities are basically just a joke.
I do not take lightly being laughed at. You really take your clients for idiots.
Place used to be great, not anymore. You can spend 60$ on a nice rack of ribs at an expensive bbq restaurant instead.
Predatory practices are running rampant nowadays.
For integrity purposes I will not remove this review for any reasons.
Edit: what did you guys do to the amazing Putters pickles you used to import from Quebec ? The jars were missing from the counter and replaced with their own brand, im guessing these pickles are new but ive never seen a such a low quality pickle. The skin was so hard my kid wasnt even able to bite through and adults had a hard time too. These are not the pickles they used to have. They probably tried to save pennies and went with a very bad quality pickle they package in house. Terrible.

One of the best I've had here in the West Coast, I'm from MTL so it's impossible to beat the ones there. Sauerkraut and hosue made pickles are a must, the fries here are very underrated too! For one person it's 23$ so a little pricey, but subway is 17$ nowadays, so you pay for what you get!
