Finally decided to give this spot a try! Our server Alexis was AMAZING! Such an amazing server, so friendly, goes out of her way, so good with all her other tables too! The hostesses a brunette and blonde were incredibly unfriendly and didn’t smile once, even while we were there. We got worried our server would be rude but Alexis was great! The food is okay but not great. I was hoping it would be better than Cactus at least but it wasn’t and Cactus is a chain restaurant with delicious food every time. The dill wings didn’t taste like dill although the crunchiness of it was great! The coconut prawns and the gyozas weren’t anything special, tasted average and similar to frozen packaged food. I’ve definitely had better at other restaurants and $90 for 3 appetizers, a main and 2 sodas was a little steep only because it was very average food. The Haven Burger was decent! We would definitely come back to try other items next time only because Alexis was awesome and we’d come back for good service like that. But please tell your hostesses to be friendlier and smile. We were there for an hour and they battered a smile maybe ONCE with a colleague.

A really groovy space–love the decore! Again forgot photos because I was with excellent company!Tried the edamame, tempura cauliflower, a d the broiled salmon. I got extra mashed potatoes and it was the best decision!Got a few cocktails and they were great! Oh and one chicken wing that my friends described as “meaty” ?I wish I took photos ?Vegetarian options: Veggie burger, tempura cauliflower, marinated edamame. So many more. And easy to recognize on the menu without guess work

The vibe and esthetics looks great. The natural sun by the pation area was amazing. They do have outdoor heater as well if you visit during colder days. The food and drinks are all great, lots of choices. I can conpare them with Cactus taste, but more Asian Infused dishes. Recommended for Langley residence and visiting the area.Parking: There are other business stalls in the strip corner where the restaurant is located, so they share parking spot with them. When busy, limited parking spot for dining guest. No street parking as its a busy intersection.

Stairway to Haven…This place has been recommended to me numerous times by one of my customer. But so far I didn’t have much luck with recommendations. Nevertheless, I finally decided to give it a try since I have never been here before. This place is located on 64th avenue close to Willbrook Mall and its parking lot is located on its east side (don’t mistaken park at the pub parking lot next to it). There is an enclosed patio on the outside, greeted by the hostess upon entering, bar to the left entrance, tables and booth seats on the other side with high ceiling, a flight of stairs lead to a second level of dining. The overall layout and vibe reminded me of Cactus Club and Joey’s.Here were the food I ordered;1. Haven Caesar (single shot). It was okay, pretty average.2. Aelo apertivo spritz. A light refreshing taste, nice little mock tail.3. Gyoza from another planet. A bit overkill with all the ingredients making the simple gyoza lost itself in space.4. Tempura coconut prawns. A crunchier version of the coconut prawns that Whitespot and Milestone serve. Missing the “tempura” theme, a light fluffy crisp, which can be easier achieved.5. Dill pickle fried chicken wings. A bit over cooked and barely notice any dill pickle taste. It was a bit bland without the house made ranch sauce.6. Broiled char siu salmon. The sauce was giving the taste buds that intriguing and flavourful sensation. It blended very well with everything, unfortunately the salmon was overcooked and missing the light char on the edges to be considered “char siu”.7. 14oz AAA charbroiled ribeye steak. It was a lot of steak, nicely done but it reminded me of a country style steak. I personally find the sauce were more like a pasta sauce then a steak sauce. This is a nice little place if you are into the atmosphere and vibe in places like Cactus, Earles, and Joey, etc…The service here was quite friendly and attentive. Nice to see all the staffs were active all the time.As for the food, they were okay but fell a bit short on their descriptive theme (simple adjustment if desired to do so). Sometimes a simple adjustment can brighten the guiding light on the stairway to food haven.

Food was decent. Loud atmosphere. Service was subpar. Waitress got passive aggressive when I tipped 18% lol. Wouldn’t come again.
