First time having dinner here for some time but I have been going here since the mid 90's. Our Jambalaya bowl was the worst. The rice was wet and clumpy. The sauce on it tasted like tomato sauce for spaghetti. sorry..I love the pub layout and all the wood but the chairs are starting to show their age and need to up grade the old TVs soon.

The King Caesar Review is here! I am here to rate all the Caesar salads world wide … starting at my home in Vancouver. These rating will be solely based on the Caesar salad it’s self and no other food I ordered. I have been eating Caesar for the past 20 years and thought it’s about time I get serious about this obsession. I hope your as excited as I am.Even just from looking at the outside I new this was my kind of place, with a Caesar salad definitely on the menu. We ordered a bunch of appetizers/ shared orders, Caesar being one of them… but not the best.Dressing: creamy base vs. Oil based: creamy for sure, kinda similar to the Kraft brand taste….also a light coating applied. White colouring. 2/10Garlic strength: 3/10 - not a strong punch or kickLeaves: mix of soft dark greens and crunch small lightsCroutons: packagesCheese: wouldn’t be my first choice of cheese still undecided if that’s shredded mozza or just soft parm…Overall this isn’t my favourite Caesar spot (also not printed on the menu?) however the atmosphere in this place is exactly everything I love about an old pub. Dark wooden panels as walls, carpet, multiple seating rooms with different types of lighting and seating, massive space, huge projector and the service was super quick and friendly. My boyfriend came in to this pub first time and want order extra spicy virgin but the brown short girl ask him to show ID to verify he is old enough to order this drink. What a hilarious experience! Even his colleagues look younger than him and not need ask for ID. Definitely not come back here in future. ???

I recommend the salty and pepper wings, steak bites, and the zucchini sticks. Really good.
tl;dr warm and comfortable setting to watch the game, have a serious conversation, or just hang out. A true neighborhood pub with ok food.I’ve come here several times. They’ve got good wings and a decent beer selection. The nachos are consistently over done to my liking. During COVID we did a lot of Uber Eats delivered nachos and somehow we enjoyed those more. They also have delicious fajitas that come out loud and sizzling.The service is hit and miss; some servers are super attentive and friendly and other times they seem disinterested. Take it in stride, it’s pub, not the Keg.There’s always a seat available and it’s actually quite a large space with different vibes in different areas.

Occasionally went here to watch playoff hockey and ufc. The bartender Craig has made this my watering hole because he’s so awesome. Only go on Saturdays now just so we can see
