Favourite places to visit for some good sushi! A bit on the pricier side but amazing spicy salmon roll and also love their mandarin fever and mango salsa roll

My Girlfriend and I did an hour walk today. She had praised this place for awhile and let me tell you she wasn't wrong. The non rushed service to the great tasting salmon and tuna sashimi in their lunch A special was outstanding.You really need to try it. 10/10

I really want to like this place but this is the third time they've either packed the wrong order, missed an item and just today, they decided to change one item in my order without my knowledge. Each time was a pickup order. They could have called me before changing my order without my consent. It's really irritating. The service and/or manager don't like to take responsibility, even when they missed an item from my order, they just said sorry and that was it. You can't just charge people and then not give them what they ordered. I keep giving them another chance but maybe I'm done now.

Today I went to pick up an order I placed on Uber Eats. The front desk staff was extremely arrogant and unreasonable. Due to a platform issue, my account name didn’t show up on their system. After confirming my name several times, she became very impatient and even said that they couldn’t recognize Chinese names. It’s ridiculous, you’re Asian yourself, and yet a front desk staff member is engaging in racial discrimination? Absolutely awful. I used to recommend this restaurant to friends, but I won’t be coming here again, and I’ll be sharing my experience with people around me.

We’ve visited June 14th. They got the reservation wrong and seated us to a tight space (4ppl + baby). The waitress took our order wrong multiple times and when asked, she was rude and aggressive.

Side note, the “Seafood udon” had no seafood in it. More like veggie udon.

Food was alright but I’d expect better service when spending $200+. Won’t be returning!

Delicious and fresh nigiri. Loved the toro here.

The only thing I would not order again is the spicy sashimi - it was a little fishy, portion was small and it was an odd flavour profile to me with the pineapple.

Service was good and restaurant was clean!

Edit: came here again after my good experience. Was let down the chicken was chewy, Saba was not fresh, the sashimi was still frozen.

Very fresh food and good service. Price point is really good given the portion size. Daughter had the full lunch which included a little of everything and I had the prawn/avocado/shrimp special roll. Will definitely be back. Very clean.

I had such a great experience at Kai Sushi Langley! The food was absolutely delicious—everything tasted fresh and beautifully prepared. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. On top of that, the interior is stylish and cozy, making it a really nice place to enjoy a meal. Definitely one of the best sushi spots in Langley—highly recommend! 🍣✨
