My group and I were unfortunately very disappointed with our experience, especially given the mostly positive reviews. One review mentioned that it felt like the food was just cheap items from the grocery store, and that really resonated with us. The sandwiches were bland, just plain Wonder Bread with mayo and cucumber or jam. The cookies were extremely hard, and the only thing we actually enjoyed was the cream and jam.

We also didn’t realize the tea selection was limited to just one fruity black tea. On top of that, the space wasn’t clean. There were bugs and spiders around, including one inside a cup, which we had to switch out due to visible dirt. The waitress accidentally knocked over a plant onto our table and spilled soil, and despite asking several times, we were never given any napkins.

When it came time to pay, we were left confused. It took quite a while to find someone, and even then, she kept walking away, which made the checkout process frustrating.

Overall, the bland food and bad service didn’t justify the nearly $60 per person price tag. Definitely not the experience we were hoping for. It’s a shame because we were all looking forward to it.

This is my favourite place in Langley. I love the aesthetic. Food was yummy too and the people are nice. I love the different options they have for tea too!

Had the most amazing experience here celebrating a very special birthday!! The staff are exceptional (especially Natasha), and they were able to accommodate to our needs and wishes!

I’ve been here quite a few times over 4+ years ago and I must say it has changed and gone downhill. We felt robbed paying $150 for 2 adults and they charged us for a 2.5 year old that just shared a couple treats that could’ve been from my portion. I understand it’s a set menu but it would make a lot more sense to still tell us what the afternoon tea includes and give you a tea option. If I knew what our tier was going to include we would have left instead. It’s like eating wonder bread with mayo and cucumbers. My daughter could make that. It’s unbelievable the price they charge and think it’s okay to serve such low quality food. I could’ve gone to a steak house and got steak and lobster with alcoholic beverages. If you want afternoon tea go to somewhere in Vancouver. After so many reviews why aren’t they atleast letting customers choose their tea yet?! Look at this tier of food for $150!!! We got 1 strawberry cut into 4 pieces lmao

We had such a great experience with high tea here. Booked for a larger group, communication was flawless / seamless from initial call / booking to day of event. They were accommodating to dietary restrictions and needs. Great service, attentive, and the food was delicious. Ambiance was great! We will definitely be back :) thank you for making this moment special.

I love the decor! The theming is cute. The white and the mirrors give it a nice bright feeling, which is sorely lacking in this PNW winter season. I like that it's located in a heritage house. I was really surprised by the size of the place. The entire upstairs is part of the store, and is very well put together.

I don't have much experience with afternoon tea, but I do have a few criticisms. The tea was good, but is bagged and not loose leaf - but I enjoyed it and that's what matters (we had the Raspberry White Champagne). There was a bit of a crack visible in my cup. I think the cutlery could've been better (edges were rough and didn't look polished). The seating had me directly facing the sun, so I ended up moving both of us over into the corner. It might've just been the sun, but I felt it was quite warm! Which paired with the sweet & rich pastries, meant I felt sleepy. There was some dead ivy coming in through a crack in the windowframe where we were seated and an upstairs closet with clothes in it for sale had cobwebs on the ceiling.

My favourites were the chicken croissant and curry pastry. The macarons were fine but the yellow one was on the chewy side (the green one did not have this issue). They were rather sweet but I understand macarons get harder to make the more you reduce the sugar (and might cause cosmetic issues).

Still - I would recommend! This was definitely a worthwhile experience. I've been here once before (years ago), but ended having brunch instead of afternoon tea due to not having a reservation, and finally made it back.

First time coming into the Little White House, we had lovely company and the staff were very friendly. I’ve hopped around to a few high tea places, and I think there are some areas that could be improved on :)

Pros
- very friendly staff
- cute interior
- cute teacups
- fantastic savouries on the vegetarian menu
- nice to have vegan/vegetarian options

Cons
- you did not select your tea, it was brought to you at the start, it also, even after waiting, tasted under steeped
- the staff told us we had 15 minutes after being there 55 minutes, a 70 minute seating is very short considering it is a higher priced high tea
- the tables are really snug,we had 4 people and 2 of us couldn’t use our food plates because there was not enough room
- we were not given water
- the food/treats is ok, not amazing
- it was nice to have a vegan option, but it just wasn’t as tasty as other places

Not sure why the latest reviews are so poor for this place? I was pretty nervous after doing high tea here since I read them after making our reservation but we were pleasantly surprised.

The cafe itself is adorable, the decor is so girlie and cute...lots of pink and bows. We were there a Monday afternoon and it was completely empty. The server was so nice and attentive, explained everything very well...even gave us the choice of tables. With the interac option, there was no option to tip so I felt bad about that...be sure to bring cash for gratuity.

The pastries were wonderful as were the scones, the sandwiches were very yummy though some of the bread was a bit on the dryer side though I wonder if maybe it was toasted or just the style of bread? Very tasty nonetheless.

At 58$ I felt it was a bit steep, granted you're likely paying a premium for it being in a nice area in Fort Langley. Hard to justify given my favourite, comparable tea salon is only 35/person.

Nonetheless we left very full and would return.

I have enjoyed lunch and tea here on several occasions in the past and had always enjoyed it. However this place has really gone downhill. The room is cramped and with a boisterous party beside us it was hard to have a conversation. The service was so-so and the cost was outrageous for a really mediocre product. Will not be returning.

I thought I was buying high quality clothing from a boutique clothing shop. I found my sweater and jeans on Ali Express and Amazon for far cheaper. I Google lens searched a few more of their items on their website and they were also from Ali Express. Don't shop here unless you like paying an inflated price for fast fashion. And don't be fooled by the "Little White House" branded tags that they've sewn onto the items.

So shady.

Five of us made reservations for high tea to celebrate one of our friends birthday. We felt very rushed hadn’t even had finished our food and they were wanting to get us out. We were just about to do the gift opening and again we were told we had to leave We were than told others were waiting for a table They were very rude
We left when (we were finished) and then had to wait for several minutes to get into the washroom When our last friend finished in the bathroom, she peaked inside our room and there wasn’t even anyone at our table We i’ll never be returning to the little White House for tea

Reading Google reviews about the Little White House, I had my doubts about how the experience would be. I was very excited to realize that is was a wonderful, cute, quaint, well-run establishment. Staff was wonderful and able and willing to help with everything, from assisting us with a disabled friend, to serving up a delicious (and very impressive) High Tea! Thanks for the experience, Little White House.
