We are (were) regular customers at S & L. However after this last incident we will not go back. We ordered through skip the dishes (as we often do). Our order came and was missing the chicken. A similar mistake has happened before. So my partner decided to call this time. He talked to the manager, Curtis. Curtis told him that they are very busy on Fridays and Saturdays and there skip orders aren't a priority as the in house orders. My partner politely said "but we pay the same price". The manager said that "it's young people in the back and they tend not to be as attentive". He then said "you need to take it up from skip". As my partner was mid sentence and the manager hung up on him. My partner wasn't rude or condening and never raised his voice through the entire conversation. We feel that although the food is good. Their are several other fantastic restaurants in Abbotsford who would take responsibility and act professionally where we will choose to spend our money from now on.

Not a fan of the quality or layout of the food. Barely a handful of fries on a family meal and charging $1 for dips is a bit ridiculous. An 8 piece meal that’s 5 legs is insane and dial It back on the salt please.

Friends treated us to dinner here. We received a courteous, friendly greeting upon arrival and were seated on the patio outside. It did not take long for an exceptional, genuinely friendly waitress, Lexi, to take our drink and food orders. The food came in a timely manner, had an attractive presentation and was delicious. Jeremy also helped with the serving and was equally friendly and helpful. It makes a delicious meal even more enjoyable when the wait staff is attentive and pleasant, without being overbearing. Would highly recommend.

This is the last time we will enter this restaurant. Although the prices have increased the food quality, at least at this location, has gone downhill. Pasta dishes were cold and void of any flavour, grilled chicken was dry. Manager does not offer a welcoming arrival nor does he bother to check with guests, especially a large group like ours, to see how our evening was going. The previous manager was excellent at this, unfortunately she moved to another location. Music was so LOUD we could barely have a conversation, this is supposed to be an upper scale restaurant not a bar, very annoying to have to compete with loud, canned music! It would have been nice to be informed verbally that a 18% gratuity was already added to the bill. Even though the receipt was stamped with this information as you are busy paying for your meal you do not notice this... so 90% of our group ended up adding 15-20% on top of the 18%. Our group will now find another venue to frequent going forward.

Very fond of the Langley S&L, We were very surprised at today’s stop. We chose to have a few appies Rather than a meal. The lobster roll was presented on a delicious bun and an acceptable amount of filling. The tempura broccolini was crunchy, had a nice taste, But was very greasy. The steak bites were a disaster! A few pieces of meat and a lot of jalapeño peppers. The meat was dry, greasy, and had a strange taste. Very disappointing!

We had the chance to have a dinner out so we took advantage of it. We got there pretty early and the place was just starting to have people arrive. Wasn't even that busy when we left. Pretty decent environment.

I drove by here when i was looking for an address and decided to stopp by to have some food and enjoy a glass of wine. I was greated promptly. Server came and told me happy hour is on in 10 min and left. It was 1:50 and she didnt come back until 2:10, not until i had to leave my table and stand somewhere so she notices me. The manager noticed me and called her over my table a few min later. I didnt specifically wanted to order from hh menu. I wanted to ask for a glass of rose but didnt even get the chance. Now i've lost all that time, all i wanted to do is order something that will be quick and leave. Service was horrible. The food was delicious.

We had lunch today and the food was great. After getting our food, the waitress Arin never showed up again. We had dirty dishes on the table and had to look for her to pay. The restaurant was not busy she just wasn't anywhere to be seen. Other tables were looking for her as well. Another server and the bartender were helpful though.

Had a serious bout of vibriosis after making the poor decision of trying their oysters. I would think twice about eating here.

My husband and I had our anniversary celebration dinner at S & L. Upon learning that we were there for an occassion, we were offered a complimentary drink of champagne. It was a very nice way to start the evening. The food was excellent. My husband almost always orders steak when we eat out. He had the sirloin and his comment was " The chef really knows how to cook steak". I had the Harvest Chicken and it was also excellent. The chicken and sauce were really tasty and the roasted vegetables were done perfectly. The other thing that we really appreciated was that the background music was not too loud. We could hear each other and talk without shouting. It was a lovely evening.

I ordered the very overpriced beef dip with some special beef and it was over cooked and almost not eatable. Super tasteless macaroni sticks no flavor. Wine at $16 a glass. this was a terrible experience. I tried to call the restaurant and no one answered the phone at any time. I had taken a friend for her birthday and did not want to make a fuss. The waitress came to ask about the food after we had had it for 40 minutes. This place was recommended by our hotel and it was terrible and ridiculous prices for terrible food
