Murchie's Fine Tea & Coffee - Willowbrook

The counter staff is incredibly slow and unorganized. It was 45 minutes for 3 regular coffee, 2 pre-made sandwiches and a danish. Absolutely ridiculous. A waste of time and money.

I really enjoyed my experience at this store however I was kinda disappointed that I had to buy 2 decaf Canadian Breakfast teas instead of 1 big package as they don't sell the 100 tea bags. Why not? I don't live in Langley, so for me to go to that store I wanted to get 100 tea bags and couldn't. ☹️🫤

While I like the scones and atmosphere at Murchies, I recently had a terrible customer service experience with purchasing a gift card. When my giftee tried to use it in the store, it was rejected and when I contacted the office to ask for a refund, they offered no solution other than to tell me the card was loaded.

Really cool tea ? and coffee ☕️ store. You can even purchase some pastries if you want. There is nice lighting and ambiance. The merchandise is of high quality and the prices are fairly reasonable. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The store is in the Willowbrook Mall so there is plenty of parking and public washrooms. My wife and I enjoyed our visit and will return another time.

I was loyal customer until I met with customer service rep.I do my monthly or bi-weekly tea purhcases from Murchie's for 2-3 years. Unfortunately, I made mistake and purchase a tea without testing it. I didn't even know testing was an option. Anyway, I had trouble at sleeping and purchase their Nightcap tea. I tried once and the smell and aroma of the tea is so strong that i couldn't even finish the cup.No one guided me or help me out upon my purchase.Needless to say, I went back to store and store manager was rude. Asking me why did I purchase without testing. Got my phone number and never call me back upon my request for return.I reached out to Murchies CSR and they said they are sorry, didn't accept the return.Anyhow, that was the time I made my last purchase. No need to mention, but there are brands stand by their products and customer who accept products even though it is eaten. How can I know something that I wouldn't like without testing.Reputation and customer service is important. Loyalty for brand as well.I will not purchase anything from Murchie's again :)

I purchased the earl grey cream. Tastes fantastic, but it is extremely potent. It overwhelms all the other teas in my cupboard and my tea cups smell of it. It's just so strong. Now, I don't care about the fact that it's strong, but the packaging provided by murchies was inadequate in providing a solution for restricting the scent of the tea bags. The original package seals the scent completely but you have to cut it open to access the tea bags and it's not resealable. My solution so far is to double bag it with ziploc. Overall, love the taste, but hate the package design and functionality.

Aliya (I am not sure of the spelling, she told me her name verbally) is a fantastic worker here. Not only are the teas amazing at Murchies (longtime customer of the Victoria location), customer service is impressive as well. Aliya was very patient and helpful thoughout the whole shopping experience. I think Murchies has a bright future if they continue to represent themselves through associates like Aliya at the Willowbrook location. They have certainly earned a loyal customer in me.

This is frustrating. Customer service is not excellent. I ordered a large size hot chocolate drink and the lady at the cashier gave me a small drink. It taste milk and could barely taste the chocolate. I just hope that she can take and make the order right next time. It’s good to be precise & make it nicely done perhaps. Not impressed.
