Bistro Fort Langley has a picture perfect and relaxing environment. I was impressed with the sizeable flower arrangements.
The food was good enough for me to want to come back for a second round.
What an incredible menu! I had the Poké Bowl and it was perfectly balanced. I wish I took a photo. The baby high chair needs some strap repair though, a baby is going to fall through that thing! But they were so baby and kid friendly. The onion ring tower was like, my favourite. Such a diverse menu, something for everyone is there. The Cesar drink was dope, too.
Suzie was so accommodating and attentive. Made my friend's 94th birthday very memorable. We'll be back!
The food was amazing and service was really good. Nice place to spend evening with friends and family!
Waitress was so sweet but service was terrible, she was short handed; food was mediocre and cold, table ahead of us got the last two pieces of prime rib but complained and got it for free, automatic 18% gratuity seemed excessive for what it was; probably won’t go back
It was really good! The restaurant was quiet but the atmosphere was perfect.
Lighting is moody, booth is comfortable, staff is very friendly
It is highly inappropriate for a server to add a tip without the customer’s consent.
I visited the restaurant with my kids for lunch today, and the server, claiming to be super busy, made us wait nearly an hour just for seating, the menu, and serving the food. We ordered burgers, pizza, and lettuce dishes, and while we tried to be understanding, the final moment was frustrating. When it came time to pay, the server quickly added a tip without my consent and handed me the machine before walking away. I’ve never had such an experience in any Canadian restaurant before. No matter how good the food may be, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Sadly, the food wasn't great and the friendly staff were overworked? The food was bland, precooked , combo of soggy and dried out, and assembled to order with bottled sauces. At least that is what it tasted like. Don't order the salmon tacos. The onion rings did look good and the patio is nice.
Disappointing Experience - Poor Customer Service
I recently visited River and Rail Bistro with my family, excited to try their cuisine, especially because I have a 10 month old with me. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by a shocking display of poor customer service from the hostess.
Upon arrival, she was taking orders from one table, which was understandable, so we waited. However, things took a turn when we tried to accommodate the hostess's request to move our stroller to a corner. She became agitated when we asked for a different booth becoming visibly frustrated, and started swearing at us. Yes, you read that right - the hostess swore at us under her breath.
We were taken aback by her unprofessional behavior and tried to diffuse the situation. However, the damage was done. The rest of our experience was tainted by this encounter, and we left feeling disrespected and disappointed.
Didn't even get to try the food, but clearly, the service and hospitality were severely lacking. It's unfortunate that one person's behavior can tarnish an entire establishment's reputation.
Until they address their staffing issues and train their staff to handle pressure with grace, I would caution others against visiting with children on a SLOW day.
Note: I hope this review helps the restaurant to identify areas of improvement. It's essential to treat customers with respect and kindness, even in challenging situations.

We came by to try this restaurant out on a Friday night (tonight) at 8:45 PM. Their website says they close at 11:00 PM. We drove all the way out here from Burnaby to try this place and I’ve never been so disappointed with service at any restaurant ever. My girlfriend and I walk in and the staff instantly go “nope nope, we’re closed” in the most hostile way with her back turned to us. I politely said “oh do you normally close at 9:00?” She goes “yep, yep always 9:00” She looked and sounded annoyed that we even walked in at all. I’m not sure why she said always 9 when the website says 11 almost every day. I am so disappointed and could never go back or support a restaurant that treats people this way. If there was a legitimate reason for closing early.. I completely understand that and it would’ve been a different story if she was simply kind. But speaking to customers like that in such a hostile way is just inexcusable. If I could give zero stars I would.

Went to get a seat and told they had a private event, after we were told by the Pub that we had to go to the bistro to get service.
Seems like a management issue and poorly executed shift planning between the restaurants.

Went for a special dinner event they were having this evening. The food was incredible. The atmosphere was a little loud but it was a fun vibe. Would absolutely be back.
