Ricky's Country Restaurant - Langley East

Half of my plate was hot. The other half was ice cold. I had the Turkey Dinner. Mashed potatoes tasted off. My carrots tasted like they were previously frozen because half of them were warm and half were ice cold. This meal was definitely not worth the $20 they made me pay for. Our server was awesome!! Too bad the food sucks. I won't be coming here again.

Service terrible, only 2 tables filled. Server more interested in chatting to friends than working. Waited to be seated for at least 10 minutes, same to have order taken. Waited at least 30 minutes for food to come out. Used to eat here all the time, was always a great experience but no more.

Parking: Seemed to be lots of parking, was midday.

Hands down, some of the best food I’ve had recently! They use the freshest ingredients and make sure each dish is done the right way. The famous original burger was especially memorable. Must try!”

Not a bad place for some simple breakfast and coffee , especially if you’re having a “rough” morning … got the chicken and waffles and I wasn’t expecting anything amazing.
Once the food came I asked for some syrup and waited a while . Food started getting cold so I asked another server and she brought it right away . First time being here in years and probably another few years till I come back or have another “rough” morning.

Hidden Gem in Langley. Honestly one of the best restaurants in Langley for food quality with great service at an excellent price. Relaxed country atmosphere. Every type of meal I have gotten here over several months has been top notch, whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We strongly recommend this Ricky's as it is far above average and even above most local boutique restaurants in terms of quality of food and great service.

Worst Ricky’s that I’ve been to by far. Looks like cooks don’t know anything about cooking breakfast. We ordered a big breakfast platter no hashbrowns on plate, ordered over easy eggs got over hard eggs. We had already waited close to 30 mins for our food and didn’t have time to wait another 30 mins. We order the works omelette no tomatoes, loaded with onions and a few mushrooms. We got our food and waitress Tammy was very friendly and accommodating, she told us our toast was coming right up for the omelette. When Waitress went to check on hasbrowns we could hear cooks arguing did u order it, waitress was like it comes with omelette, everyone’s meals came out at different times which I can understand a few mins but the last meal was almost 7 mins after everyone else . Overall food was the worst by far. Only reason I’m giving a 2 star review is for the service we received from Tammy.

Could not believe how bad the service was here. I’m pretty forgiving with servers having no motivation - they all don’t get paid enough. But it was jarring how bad it was here. Would not recommend.

Absolutely loved having lunch here with family today! Tried their Old Style Bacon and Cheddar Burger and it definitely hit a spot. The ambiance was cozy and our server was really polite and sweet. Kids enjoyed celebrating Father’s Day. We are definitely coming back! ?
