My husband and I made reso's for our anniversary (noted on reservation and when we came in, histess asked) and were seated in a booth on the informal side, not formal dining side. There were 2 other larger groups, one with kids. It woukd have been nicer to have been seated on the other side without the yelling of the kids, especially for anniversary dinner. We were given 2 crab cakes free of charge. Hostess took a while to get to us as the table ordering before us took forever. Table was unstable, surrounding table was not cleared. Bathroom had several stalls out of order, 2 of the 3 soap dispensers were gone, no paper towel and the bathroom stall had no light lol.... Food was really good I liked what we ordered although my hubby's steak was undercooked. They comped our dessert which was nice. Waitress was super nice and no complaints there.

our server was absolutely amazing. I don't remember her name. I just remember that she looked like STASSI from Vanderpump lol I ordered a frose which I've had there before a few times. It was terrible. It just tasted like bitter frozen wine. Our server was great she returned. It tried again. It was the same. So I was able to get an aperol spritz. I ordered the hero chicken ball which I've had before and I know is absolutely amazing. Last night the rice was hard in places and there was not enough sauce. It was still great though and we enjoyed it. It was very nice that we got a complementary dessert for our anniversary. We will be back.

S+L Langley used to be our favorite local restaurant for special occasions. Unfortunately the food quality has really slipped. There are a few dishes that are on par with previous years (steak) but most have execution, flavour and even smaller portion sizes (EG: Master Chicken Sandwich, Calamari and inconsistency with fries portions across plating)

We celebrated a double birthday with our good friends who were visiting from the states. They were very impressed from the time we walked in. We have been before and wanted to share this Langley gem with them. It is not cheap but for special times it is a nice place to go.

Enjoyed our 9th wedding anniversary here for supper. We were emailed a coupon for 2 glasses of bubbles and a free dessert to celebrate. We had a lovely time, our food was delicious, service was top tier (appreciate the hydration during this heat wave!) and the overall ambience was superb. Thank you for helping us celebrate. Absolutely a delight to visit this spot.

We came to S+L Bar for our anniversary dinner and overall had a mixed experience. The oysters were creamy and delicious, and our server was fantastic—very friendly and attentive. He invited us to choose a complimentary dessert for the occasion, and we went with the Dubai chocolate mousse, which was very tasty.
Unfortunately, the steak was below average and a bit disappointing, especially since I expected it to be grilled at a steakhouse—it turned out to be pan-fried, which really took away from the experience. To make matters worse, the steak and vegetable sides had absolutely no salt, which left them bland. On the positive side, we added lobster to the steak, and it was very tasty even though I’m usually not a big fan of lobster.

The atmosphere was very nice, and the service was great—friendly, helpful, and attentive. We ordered the ranch cut and filet, which was good, but definitely not the best we’ve had elsewhere. They were a bit dry and gamy. We might go back, but we’ll definitely try different food next time.

The food was kinda meh, the steak entree we ordered was definitely not worth $60. The lychee martini was probably the only good thing out of everything we ordered. Probably won't go again, unfortunately.
