We liked Saba very much. It has an upbeat atmosphere, interesting menu, very tasty, bright and elegant but easy, comfortable. Good service.

This was a reminder to me of why I shouldn’t tip when I’m standing up to pay/order. Visited recently with a friend, she had her dog with her so we grabbed a table outside and I went in first. The line moved incredibly slow, the person taking the order then made the coffee, got the pastry, 20 minutes wait to get through the 3 people in front of me. The pastries look amazing!! I probably erred by sending my friend pics, she wanted to come in to look herself rather than have me order for her. Over $20 for a cappuccino and avo toast, with tip which I would come to regret. I ordered then went outside so my friend could order. About ten minutes later my toast was delivered, one slice, beautiful but small. No coffee, no cutlery or napkins. When it was placed in front of me I said “ I had a coffee as well” was told I had to go in and get it. No way to do that with the dog so I waited the 30 minutes it took my friend to get a pastry and ice tea, watching my toast get cold. Went inside and grabbed by now cold coffee, there was no cutlery left and the front, asked where I could get some and was told “ you’ll have to check the back “, wove my way through the snails pace line to retrieve my own napkin and cutlery. It’s an adorable looking place, the staff are not friendly, polite or effective. Don’t be upset when people don’t tip, you don’t deserve it.

Saba Cafe caught my eye from the outside, and stepping in didn't disappoint!
The beautiful courtyard and outdoor seating area are perfect for a relaxing evening coffee. I tried their strawberry matcha and it was delicious.
Great spot for a chill evening coffee.

They usually have really good pastry stuff. But, had an unpleasant experience today with them. I ordered earlier two boxes w/ 2pcs of Danish each box. The lady just handed me an old stock and the Danish absolutely taste old pastry 👌🏼 My Boss didn’t like the one they gave today! such a Bad experience!

The food and drinks here are great! They are made well and an excess of sugar is not used to overcompensate for a lack of flavour. It was fairly quiet, but I was there on a weekday.
