Went to saba for a brunch with my sister and father. Was prety good but the hummus bowl did not have that much hummus and was very oniony (Not the best but my sister really liked the onions). The service was great through and was super efficient and helpful. The ambiance was great, but a little loud (but what can u do?). Coffee here is so good and not too sweet. Would recommend:)

The chef seems never taste the olive they put in the rigatoni. It is waaaaaay too salty.

Nice inside atmosphere and kind service. However, the outside seating was too narrow. It was very tight and extremely hot especially during a hot summer day. The food and drinks were extremely overpriced, and tasted very mediocre. Portions of the food was also decently small.

Always fantastic food here. Always a few vegan options and a few gluten free options. I have the Warm Moroccan salad every time, it’s so good. And always great service. Maryssa was amazing.

Such a disappointment. We were here last year and it was a highlight. This year, not so much. Two people in our party had the halibut. At $48 you should be able to expect it to be cooked perfectly. It was overdone. I ordered the lemon zucchini tagliatelle. The waiter asked if I’d like to add prawns and I said yes. I knew there would be an up charge. For some reason my pasta arrived much later than the other meals in our party of four. There were two prawns. Two, not very big prawns. I was surprised there were only two. Even more surprising was the price. They charged me $16 for two prawns. I couldn’t believe it. The pasta was also very overcooked. Definitely not Al dente.
We found the wine list to be limited and overpriced, not offering any bottles under $80. $80 is reasonable if it’s a great wine.
A 20% tip for the staff was over $60, for a waiter that was run off her feet and slow to return. She was cheerful and enthusiastic but too busy to to properly serve any table. No offerings of pepper or frequent return visits. I had to flag her down to ask for salt for my bland pasta.
This was not good value at all. We were so disappointed.
Not sure what has happened here, but it’s definitely not the same

We had high hopes with going to Saba Bistro for the first time. The place was packed but thankfully we made a reservation. We were seated on time. We were finally greeted by our server Kayla after a few minutes. When she finally arrived at our table we put in our order. I ordered a Virgin Ceasar, which looked good, but tasted like watered down tomato juice. My wife just wanted water and then she noticed Kayla's face look displeased that she was not ordering a drink. My wife has looked at the online menu before we arrived at the restaurant and both options she picked had showed that they could be made vegan, but that was not the case as the menu in the restaurant showed something completely different. My wife and I both ordered pasta dishes and I ordered Truffle Fries and honestly the fries were the only highlight of the night. Both our pastas were missing salt and ingredients were also missing from our plates like capers, chili flakes. We would of asked for salt but Kayla never came back to ask if we would like anything else or how our food was tasting. She didn't even ask if I wanted another drink. Food looked great but tasted not so good. The vibe is pretty cool in there. Felt like we were in an upscale Vancouver place. Unfortunately the food and Kayla's bad service left us very disappointed. For the price we pay for the meals makes it even worse. We will not be back.

Great food, grilled caesar salad, halibut, chicken all well cooked with fresh flavors, competent service, busy weekend so noise level a bit high. Perfect choice for a relaxing weekday meal. Best in the area.

Loved coming here and getting fantastic service in an unbeatable atmosphere. Food choices are great and delicious, and Kayla was super careful about my egg, dairy and coconut allergies. Will definitely be back for a date night!
