It's a Japanese to go restaurant that recently opened. Ordered salmon and tuna sashimi and some rolls. Their portion size is so good ( thick cut sashimi like how sushi california used to sell theirs), sashimi tastes fresh like other japanese restaurant and price is very decent. If you love sushi and and like takeout foods this is your hidden jam.
I'm impressed by the owner. Nowadays people just keep increasing prices due to inflation and compromises food quality or portion size. Many Japanese takeout only places mostly serve hot foods and their fish quality is not as good as regular Japabese restaurants. This place is quite small but does everything properly and their price is the lowest I have ever seen. I truly wish their business to do well. We will be coming back for more!

Very reasonably priced sushi, tastes fresh and good quality. We usually get the Yam Cream Cheese Roll, Prawn Tempura, Chicken Dynamite Roll, and Hot Night Roll. This place doesn’t have dine-in currently, but we’re happy to take it home.

I usually am not a bad review writer. But i just picked up lunch from Sushi Monster and most of the food was not very eatable. I ordered a California Lunch Box and a Spicy Tuna roll. This is my first time ordering since the reno/rebranding. The teriyaki beef in the box was dry and tough. Very little sauce. The tempura yams were brown under the tempura batter. Like on their way out brown. The tuna didn't look the right color (very white, not pink at all). There was plenty of food for the price but the food just wasn't very good -- I stopped eating it. The service was quick (called at 11:55 and it was ready for 12:08. Miso soup wasn't terrible. It's too bad i really liked this place before the rebranding/naming and the restaurant looks clean and bright, although there is no seats, and the prices seem fair, but I probably won't go back..
