Just had lunch today and while the food was pretty good, I can’t say much for our server. It would appear that she has decided that everyone she waits on must pay her a tip. We had left the restaurant and walking to our car when she followed us outside and questioned about her service. What she was inquiring about was her tip that she felt she was entitled to!
After informing her the tip was on the table she immediately turned around and left without offering a thank you.

The okonomiyaki wasn’t thin and crispy like they make it originally in Japan, and instead of being filled with too much veggies, it had too much egg. The ginger was also moldy when I ate it, really disgusting and I never experienced that, if you can’t even check expiry dates on your ginger I can’t imagine how rotten other things must be ? The owner was also very rude when I brought up my complaint, and she quickly hung up without even apologizing. Would not recommend

We all know there are many sushi restaurants in BC. I came this place twice and ordered uber many times and never been disappointed. I wanna give this place more than 5 stars!!!! Best of the best sushi place in BC. Food is absolutely fresh and staffs are very nice! Repeat? Of course!!!

My favourite sushi place in Langley. A hidden jem for sure! Freindly owners & generous portion size. Taste amazing too! I would give 10 stars if I can. I am avoiding raw sushi due to my pregnancy at the moment, but will be returning as soon as I pop this baby out!?

Like their booth seating, clean washrooms. Plenty of parking in this plaza. Suspect could be those Korean operated ones, just like my favourite Sishi Zion lol.

I ordered the Philadelphia roll, miso soup, and caterpillar roll, and it was so fresh and delicious. Even though I was so late to pick up my food, they kept it fresh for me and still gave me a free mini deep-fried California roll and a second miso. And they offered to give me a free roll. They're the sweetest people ever. Thank you so much!?

Loved this place in it's entirety. Super cute, clean, spacious restaurant. The staff was so friendly and attentive. So many options on the menu. I like veggie options so I appreciate that. They also have real crab meat as as option for an extra $5.50. I never eat California rolls but I did tonight! Super yummy crab! We went at 8pm and they were gracious with us staying till closing! I want to go back to try other options !

The best raw fish rice bowl I've ever had in BC. It's a pity that I couldn't take a picture of the enormous size of the bowl and the amount. The ingredients were very fresh, and the tuna, Atlantic salmon, and sockeye around the cheek were really fresh and delicious. The Tempura fries that came out for dessert were a delicacy in themselves, not like the thick batter you get at snack bars. Seeing that the restrooms are also clean and well-organized, I think that Sushi Ami's neat food and clean, well-organized environment are the philosophy that owner Ami wants and pursues.

Ordered take out yesterday and the sushi did not taste fresh and presentation was questionable. Today we all have the runs and stomach is hurting and that was the only new thing we ate. I absolutely will not be returning. Never had i gotten sick from sushi or had sushi that tasted below average.
