I ordered a kid's donburi meal to go this evening. This comes with donburi, tempura, and a California roll. I requested no crab in the California roll. I even added a note saying that it was okay if this meant the roll was small. Because I requested this, I was charged an extra $5 ($4.88 to be exact). They said that this is because they had to make an avocado roll instead. However, no amount was deducted from the combo price. So, I was basically charged for the California roll twice as I paid for it as part of the combo PLUS I had to pay for an avocado roll. However, despite paying for both the California roll and the avocado roll, I was only given one roll. So, a dinky kid's meal ended up costing close to $20 for rice with a small amount of beef, three pieces of tempura, and an avocado roll that was just straight avocado. On top of that, they charged 50 cents for the take out bag, and there was no option to select no bag. Yes, they called my husband to discuss the extra charge as the online ordering account is in his name, but at the time, he was on a business trip in Ontario and was working, so he just said "sure" in order to get off the phone and get back to work. I have been a longtime customer for close to 8 years, but I will definitely not be returning. There are a million other sushi places, so will be skipping this place in the future.

Very cosy family operated sushi spot. Was ok but not ideal for families with kids. Bit tight. Was packed though with takeout orders - they could barely keep up. Must be doing something right
