Food and prices are excellent. Prices are 2 to 4 dollars less per dish compared to other sushi places in the area. One of the better places we've been to in Langley/Surrey area. Service was friendly but could be more attentive. We didn't have the sashimi but one of the other tables did, big pieces and looked good. We recommend giving it a try.

I’ve tried Sushi California in Downtown and Burnaby (Lougheed), but the Langley location is on a completely different level—it’s amazing! Even though it’s far from us in North Vancouver, whenever we have time, we make the trip because it’s absolutely worth it.
The design and presentation of the dishes are like artwork, the ingredients are always super fresh, and even though the restaurant is usually busy, the wait is never more than a few minutes. The staff are professional, friendly, and make the experience even better.
Here you can find both westernized rolls and more traditional sushi, all prepared with great care. For this price range, it’s by far the best option I know. If you try it once, you’ll definitely want to come back again.

I often come here for lunch. They have great price lunch combo. In addition, the tip percentage does NOT start with 20%, set at a very reasonable percentage. Food tastes good, no complaint. Service ladies are friendly.

Food was delicious! I got the cali rolls, miso soup and teriyaki beef (A very typical white person meal, lol) and it was all very good! Presentation was also very nice! Portion size on the beef was excellent, I had plenty of leftovers!

I have been to different Sushi California locations before, and it seems like the quality of food and service can vary. I’ve tasted different levels of quality, which is disappointing because I used to go to various Sushi California branches for a long time. I was especially disappointed with the one in Langley, the presentation wasn’t great, and the food quality was lacking. I hope it was just a one time thing and that it improves. The price is still reasonable, but they could do much better by learning from other branches to maintain consistent quality in both food and service. That being said, the atmosphere was about the same, maybe slightly better, but overall, I was very disappointed with the food and service

As a vegetarian there werent a lot of options but the service was absolute amazing. They were honest and accommodating. They made the roll i wanted and made it really well. I had to get some work done and they even let me stay after i was done with my food. Would definitely recommend this place because of their service.

We order takeout pretty frequent and today, we ordered both full size salmon sashimi and assorted sashimi (17pcs) again, we have notice very obvious that the size of sashimi become smaller. We asked for extra wasabi and ginger, but there was not extra two small containers of them as before. Also, the seafood salad used to have smoked salmon and Hokigai, but this time it only has two pieces of squid. Very obvious that same price but less food provided.
Always a reliable place for amazing sushi. I highly recommend their Alaska roll. They also have lots of price friendly roll combos which is a standout feature compared to other sushi places.

We Had a wonderful dinner at Sushi California, Willowbrook Drive, Langley location We ordered chicken karaage, agedashi tofu, miso soup, dynamite rolls, and ika karaage. Everything was delicious and fresh. The only dish that was a bit of a miss for us was the ika karaage it was quite chewy and may have been slightly over-fried. What truly stood out was the exceptional service. Our servers, Sue and Daniel, were very attentive throughout the meal. Sue even noticed our concern with the ika karaage and kindly removed it from the bill, which really reflects their commitment to great customer service. Highly recommend this spot for tasty Japanese food and warm, accommodating service.
