Worst Prawn Tempura ever $15.25/8 very skinny pieces - watery, totally mushy, no flavour at all. Since when are prawns ever mushy instead of firm? Gomae was incredibly chewy and took a long time to break down and swallow and portion was half the size of other places for more money at $6.95. Told waitress right up front about prawns but no one came by. Asked again for manager and finally she showed up but I was almost finished meal by then as I was so hungry that night. My husband and I frequent this restaurant, we bring many friends there and it's usually great for service, quality and ambiance.
Yesterday we had a terrible experience. Our friend ordered the 'pork katsu' roll (apologies if I got the name wrong). The wrong item was brought: pork strips instead of the roll. He clarified with the waitress who insisted we ordered what was brought. All three of us confirmed he did order the roll and her response was essentially blaming...read full review
