Not impressed, I've eaten better sushis, it's expensive for what you get.. it was fresh tho.

We have been coming here for the better part of a decade and likely have visited over 100 times in that period.

On most occasions, the service has been great and the food good.

However, there seems to have been a decline in the quality of the food and the attitude of the staff has deteriorated.

In the latest instance, a roll we have loved and probably ordered over 100 times over the years; the crunch roll, wasn't good: something was wrong with it. We informed the staff and although they were apologetic they did not offer to replace it or remove it from the bill, despite only having eaten two partial pieces. We spoke to both the server and the manager and neither offered more than an apology. It's basic customer service to remove an uneaten item from the bill if it's quality is not up to snuff. Not here, apparently.

This sort of indifference was never part of the experience when we started coming here and because of that and the apparent decline of the food quality we will go elsewhere in future. It's a sad end to what used to be a wonderful experience for our family. Hopefully they will see this review and turn things around for others in the future.

Personally my favourite in Langley! For the rolls; veggie tempura roll and asparagus tempura rolls are so good!! Tried lots on the menu but those two I always come back to order!

Food is good..not the best sushi I have ever had but it is good. Waitress was very friendly.
Interior if restaurant could use upgrading..it is very dark and outdated.

Worst Prawn Tempura ever $15.25/8 very skinny pieces - watery, totally mushy, no flavour at all. Since when are prawns ever mushy instead of firm? Gomae was incredibly chewy and took a long time to break down and swallow and portion was half the size of other places for more money at $6.95. Told waitress right up front about prawns but no one came by. Asked again for manager and finally she showed up but I was almost finished meal by then as I was so hungry that night. After 3 times talking with her she removed a mere $4.58 off of my $23.31 bill. I asked for 50% discount at the very least. Sushi Mora lost my biz for life. I hope the $4.58 was worth it.

I recently attempted to place a takeout order and unfortunately found the service to be lacking. When I called to inquire about the menu the representative was unable to provide information on the menu and ended the call abruptly. This made me unimpressed with the lack of customer service. The staff should know what they have on their menu.

I then proceeded to drive there and place the order and the staff made the wrong order and said I ordered that. They should have been accountable for their own mistake rather than blaming a customer.

I hope the management can address these issues as improving communication and knowing the menu can enhance the overall experience.

I recently visited Sushi Mori in Langley and had an average experience. The sushi didn’t feel authentic and had a slightly off taste that didn’t match the freshness I was expecting. The rolls were larger than usual, which threw off the balance of flavors and made them harder to enjoy. The staff was generally fine but didn’t offer much help or guidance while we were ordering, which could have made the experience smoother. Additionally, the restaurant could use a more thorough cleaning. I probably won’t return, as there are definitely better places around with tastier food at the same price point or even cheaper.

Do not try their recommendations. Waiter recommended a 2 hear teriyaki chicken avocado roll. The roll had to teriyaki sauce inside, plain chicken breast. No flavour on the roll. Couldn't pick up the roll with chopsticks without it falling apart. Did nothing to rectify the issue because I tried to eat 3 pieces & didn't like it. Won't be returning here

Food and the atmosphere are amazing but the service wasn't the greatest. Had to stop someone to ask for drinks, again for food and once our food was ordered, it was a 20 min wait when they started to bring our food out our appies and rolls out before our kids food, which was simply rice and edamame, which you would think they would cater to the kids first.

Brought a friend here for lunch. The service was very poor. Mentioned that I can’t eat avocado and accidentally ordered something that had avocado in it. It would have been nice if the server had warned me.

The service was incredibly slow and inattentive. All of my food arrived before my friend received any of hers. And she was starving!

Drink refills were not offered until the end of the meal. It took forever to receive the bill. We had to flag down a different server and ask them for it.

All together it was a very poor experience. I won’t be back.
