What a fantastic find! Sushico is a bit of a hidden gem on the Langley Bypass. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in.
The menu has a great variety, from classic rolls to tasty rice bowls and noodles. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal, making it perfect for a quick lunch or a casual dinner with friends. Highly recommend the dynamite rolls and their miso soup—so comforting!

I recently had lunch at Sushico Japanese Restaurant, and the experience left a genuinely positive impression on me. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming — not noisy, not rushed, just comfortable enough to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff greeted me right away, and there was this calm, friendly energy that instantly set the tone for the visit.
What I appreciated most was how smoothly everything went. The service was steady and attentive without being over the top. They checked in at the right moments, refilled what was needed, and made sure I had everything without me even having to ask. It’s the kind of service that makes the whole experience feel natural and thoughtful, not forced.
The food itself really surprised me in the best way. Everything tasted fresh, balanced, and prepared with care. Sometimes lunch spots can be inconsistent, but here I felt like the quality was steady from the first bite to the last. The textures were right, the flavours felt clean and well-matched, and nothing tasted rushed or overly heavy. Even the presentation had that little extra attention that makes you appreciate the meal more.
The overall vibe of the restaurant made it easy to enjoy my time there. It’s clean, organized, and comfortable — perfect for a quick lunch or even a slower, relaxed one. After this visit, I can say I’d definitely return. Sushico gave me the kind of experience where you walk out feeling satisfied, not only because the food was good, but because the whole visit felt easy, pleasant, and well put together.

The service is completely terrible, the waitresses were absolutely lost, it was a horrible experience, at least the food was good, but it wasn’t worth it because of the stress!

Terrible, the food was good but the service is the most disorganized ever. We took more than 30 minutes to pay the bill because the order was all disorganized

Amazing and underrated.
You can tell the food is authentic because they use red and regular miso for their soup. Tastes like it’s just from Japan.
The other time like the bento boxes are large and delicious. Worth every dollar and would definitely come back again!

Out-of-town visitors who love Japanese food and were not disappointed with this restaurant. Even though the prices are a bit in the high side ($9 for 6 gyozas), the dinner combos we each had were worth their price tag of $26. We did not expect to get such a large portion with a generous serving of soup, 4 pieces of tempura, 6 sushi pieces, teriyaki, rice and vegetables. The only quibbles I have might be that the tempura batter was a bit too much and the green tea only came as a mug, as opposed to a teapot, which is usually the norm. Service was quick, efficient and friendly. Easy parking but then it might be more different on the weekend. The quality of the food was very good and I'd recommend this place, especially the combination meals. For a few $ more than individual items, you get lots. We couldn't finish it all, so took the rest for the next day's supper. The music could be improved upon too - maybe something 'Japanese or at least less audible. But a positive experience overall.
