Good food and great selection of beers, love ording the flights of beers to sample.

Large, comfortable, relaxed vibe is the first impression that one gets as you walk in. Multiple seating options, including a covered patio, (heated during colder days). Plenty of selection in their alcohol menu- especially, beers & some flavorful Gin(s). The chef knows what he/she is doing & put out delicious fares, although the portion size on a few items could be better. Ask your server before if you have a doubt. Our server today was Nicki, who primarily bartends, was wonderful in every aspect of service & whose knowledge & expertise of 'everything spirits' would impress any reveler. Thanks, Nicki!

I had the pleasure of experiencing TBM's Chef's Plate dinner, and it exceeded all expectations. The culinary journey was reminiscent of Vancouver's finest dining establishments, with each dish meticulously crafted and bursting with creativity. From the tantalizing cocktails to the impeccable execution of every course, it was a night of pure indulgence. As a regular patron of TBM, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional treat awaiting us. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience in Vancouver.

Lots of great gluten free food options. They always seem to have around 8 ciders on tap and even a gluten free beer option!

I recently visited the restaurant for the first time with my friends. We ordered the Mac and cheese and the veggie black bean burger. Unfortunately, the Mac and cheese didn't meet my expectations; it was bland yet sweet, which wasn't to my liking. However, I ended up ordering the veggie burger after, which was fantastic! It had a delicious patty with yummy toppings. Our waitress was really attentive and kindly removed the Mac and cheese from our bill. Staff were lovely & atmosphere was great!

Went for a birthday party. There were 8 of us. Great service, all eating within a few minutes. Good drink menu. My open faced pulled pork sandwich was ok. The rest of the party enjoyed theirs.
Great post movie beer flights and beer cheese. Service was friendly and prompt, beers were cold and tasty and the beeeeer cheese is always great, will certainly return.

Extremely disappointed in the food. I had the clam corn chowder and it’s the worse soup I have ever had in my entire life. I did mention it to the waitress but she just brushed it off. It’s ok thou. I just want people to know that the food here it’s bad. I don’t want anything I don’t need anything and ofc this is just my opinion. I don’t think I will ever go there again. Loud, horrible food and subpar service.

The Barley Merchant is a gem of a locally owned restaurant. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food is consistently amazing, offering a delightful array of flavors that always leave me satisfied. What truly sets them apart is their impressive selection of ever-changing taps, showcasing an extensive variety of local beers, ciders, and spirits. It's a fantastic way to support local breweries and distilleries while enjoying a delicious meal. Whether you're a beer enthusiast or simply looking for a great dining experience, The Barley Merchant delivers on all fronts. It's a must-visit spot for anyone craving exceptional food and drinks in Langley.

Great food and amazing service. We were 9, including 2 children split in 3 groups arriving at different times. The team was super accommodating and friendly. The food was amazing, the beer flights made our night! Highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: Our party included a 1-year old and a 3-year old. The 3-year old enjoyed the macaroni and cheese. Both enjoyed fries. We were welcomed despite being the only party with young kinds that evening.
